Chapter Nineteen: We're A'Coming

"I-I don't know about this, D-Delirious" Lui squeaks, shuffling foot to foot and staring at the floor. "Lui, you can do it. Me and Bryce are gonna be there too y'know" I chuckle, patting his shoulder. Lui bites his lip and drops his head, rubbing his eye next. "I know but I.. I'm gonna get fucked over" He sighs, shrugging halfheartedly.

"Listen Lu, I won't let you get hurt. Now gear up, Ohm's been with that bitch for a month and I don't wanna know what Cartoonz has done to him" I grumble, handing Lui a gun. He stares at it and gulps. "Can I say no?" He asks, pleading. "No, no you can not" I respond, why the fuck is he tryna back out of this?

"O-Okay, let's go" Lui stutters, shaking his head and stepping towards the van, where Bryce is waiting. It's a short drive, ten minutes, to where we park the van in an alley and walk the rest of the way. We approach the base and Lui gulps when Bryce's gun clicks.

"Ready?" I ask, slowly opening the door. "Fuck yeah" Bryce growls, ready to get Ohm. "Y-Yeah" Lui whimpers, his hands shaking. Is this kid okay? We walk into the base slowly as I make sure the silencer on my gun is on tight. Bryce lifts his gun and shoots, Lui gasping sharply. We pass the body and Lui sighs in.. relief?

I see a group of three walk by and me and Bryce take them down, Lui still just shaking at my side. Bryce directs us down one hallway, having gotten blueprints of this place and finding the room Ohm spends most of his time in. We turn again and some tall dick with grin eyes is there, eyes wide.

Lui gasps and Bryce lifts his gun, but Lui moves in front of the man. "Lui!" Me and Bryce hiss at the same time, but Lui nor the man say anything. "D-David, take us to O-Ohm" Lui stutters, looking over his shoulder at the guy. Bryce looks at me but I'm just as confused, what the fuck? 'David' turns and leads us down a hall, breathing fast.

He opens a door and quickly walks away, eyes wide in horror. "What the fuck was that?!" Bryce growls, slapping the back of Lui's head. "I-I'll tell you later" Lui gulps as we advance into the room. There Ohm is, reading on the bed. He looks up and his eyes widen before his face splits with a grin, jumping off of the bed and running into me for a rib crushing hug.

"Ohm, buddy, I missed you too, but we gotta get out of here" I whisper, dragging him out the way we came. Ohm nods over and over again as we leave, running into no one else on the way out. Lui keeps his gaze to the ground and Bryce walks close to Ohm and eye, the four of eye finally making back to the van. Home free, buddy.

Lui and I climb into the front seat while Bryce pulls Ohm into the back, talking to him quietly. Lui doesn't look at me and I frown, pulling out of the alley and driving down the street. I glance into the back and see Bryce holding onto Ohm, the shorter sobbing against Bryce's shoulder.
