Nerd Gone Bad

Lynn's POV

"LYNN HURRY UP WE NEED TO GO!!! THE PARTY STARTED 30 MINUTES AGO!!!!" I rolled my eyes as I finished touching up my lipstick.

"CALM DOWN CARTER ILL BE OUT IN A SECOND!!!" I yelled back she stopped her pounding on the door and stomped away.

Tonight is sorta a Halloween party where everyone is dressing up to have fun. Carter was dressing up as a Harley Quinn. Justin as the Joker and Jason as a devil me a fallen angel. Me and Jason wanted to match like Carter and Justin did.

I put the cap on the tube of lipstick and I stared at my self. Damn did I look good. And it took me a year to get to where I am.

It's already a year... Wow. A year. So many things happened. Good and bad. It's shaped me into this woman I am now. I wasn't as scared as before my heart stone hard. Protecting myself from people who try to get in.

Ever since that day I cried for like a month. Hurting my heart breaking. Almost felt like I was dying. Well I almost did I didn't even eat during it. It still hurts you know. His last words still ring in my head to this day.

'Why would I date such a pathetic waste of space girl like you!'

I know I shouldn't care about it but truth be told I was deeply in love with Chase. Such a short time we dated I fell hard only to landed really hard into a brick wall of heart break. Jason, Carter and Justin where there for me. Luke sorta came around to see Jason. I don't know what's going on with Jason and Luke honestly.

"Lynn are you almost done we are waiting for you!"  I looked at myself in the mirror. Looking more mature then I used to. Bit fuller. I'm still skinny but fuller. I'm a woman now not some child anymore.

With one last sigh, I unlocked the door and walked out and smiled softly at Jason.

"There's my Lynnieboo!! Looking beautiful as hell!"

I gave a slight giggle. "Well you did help me pick my costume out that complimented my figure like you said."

"Yes I did just like Carter." He linked arms with me and started to walk me walking with him.

How am I so lucky to have friends like Jason. He's been my rock. Like yeah Carter and Justin helped like I said but Jason he worked so hard to help me. He got me help, comforted me helped me work out everything that happened to me.

"Are you okay Lynn?"  I looked at Jason and nodded.

"Just thinking Jason is all." He looked worried when I said this. "It's not what you think. I'm okay. Just wondering how I got lucky to have someone like you as my best friend."

He looked relieved when I said this and smiled big. "Well I guess everyone had that one best friend you can count on and be lucky to have."

I smiled and hugged Jason. He's the best and he deserves the world.

"JASON LYNN HURRY UP YOU GUYS ARE SO FUCKING SLOW!!!!!" Me and Jason laughed at this.

"SAYS THE GUY WHO SPENDS HOURS IN THE BATHROOM ON HIS HAIR!!!!!" I laughed at what Jason said. But it's true.

Justin spends hours in the bathroom on his hair. How is his hair still on his scalp after all the products he uses.
