Alya's cheeks were bright red and aflame with color. Her brain was not working right now and she couldn't even process what had just happened. The only thing she knew was that she had to tell her best friend about this right away. Without thinking Alya grabbed a coat and flung it on, then she grabbed the door handle so she could launch herself out into the night. 

Her mind was replaying the last few minutes in her head over and over again as she ran through the quiet night time streets of Paris. Nino had just been over to her house to hang out. They were technically dating but she was so busy with her blog that they barely got to see each other outside of school and they hadn't went on an actual date in a while. She had felt like they had gone back to being just friends for awhile, they hadn't even kissed yet. Well... until tonight. Before he had left Nino had taken her into his arms and planted a kiss right on her lips. And then he had left her standing in her living room trying to remember what her name was. Oh, she was so going to get him back for that. 

Alya was halfway to Marinette's when she realized what time it was and that her friend probably wouldn't be all that happy with her showing up at her house a quarter to eleven o'clock at night. Oh, well she had come this far and it's not like Marinette wasn't a night owl anyway. She was probably still up working on a design or texting Adrien. Alya groaned at the latter. It's not like she still didn't ship Marinette and Adrien, they were still her OTP, but they could be disgusting sometimes and she felt like she didn't see Marinette anymore. It was a good thing she had her hands full with her blog. It was really going viral since she got that picture of Ladybug and Cat Noir kissing on top of the Eiffel Tower that one time. Since then many other people had been sending her pictures of LB and CN acting like a couple so she cold post them. She, herself had been searching for more signs that they were now a thing. Almost all of the Paris new about their new relationship now even though they hadn't come and said they were dating. The way they suddenly became more intimate with each other and the way Cat Noir would sometimes hold her hand or put his arm around her and she wouldn't do anything to stop it, said it all. 

She could now see the bakery and sure enough the light in Marinette's room as on. Alya ran faster. She went in the back door that lead into the Dupain-Cheng apartment instead of through the bakery since that was closed anyway. She ran up the stairs and knocked on their door hurriedly. Sabine answered and was confused when she saw her. 

"Isn't it a little late, Alya?" She asked in greeting.

"Yeah, sorry but I really need to talk to Marinette," Alya tried to explain without actually explaining everything. Sabine got an understanding look on her face before stepping aside and ushering Alya into the house. "Marinette's up in her room, you can just go right up. Don't be too long though, you both have school tomorrow." Alya nodded her head and walked to the ladder that lead up to Mari's room. Grabbing the the rungs, she pulled her self up hastily eager to tell her best friend what had just happened. She flung open the hatch and popped up in her room.

"Marinette! You'll never guess what..." She trained off and her brow scrunched up in confusion. The room was empty. The light was on and she could see that her friend had been on her computer a minute ago from the way it was propped up on her chaise but Marinette herself was no where in sight. Odd. 

Alya climbed the rest of the way into her room and stood up, hands on her hips and surveyed the room for clues. Marinette wouldn't sneak out of her house without her parents knowing, right? It was not like her best friend at all but her empty room said otherwise. Alya's eyes went wide as a thought occurred to her. Marinette wouldn't have snuck out to see Adrien would she? She honestly found that thought romantic. It was like forbidden love! That wasn't actually forbidden so why did she have to sneak out?
