The birds were literally at my window chirping their heads off. I sat up a bit and growled, throwing a pillow at the window. Despite me not being a morning person, Sia seems like one. Her giggles and squealing could be heard outside my room. Well, she sure is quite the morning person.

Suddenly, the door bursts open, revealing an ecstatic brunette. "Get out of bed Salem! We're going shopping!" She yells happily before she was yanked back by a grumpy Rosalie. Thank the Goddess she closed the door behind her. I did not wanna see all that.

I jumped out of bed and put on a plain white T-shirt and a pair of light blue skinny jeans. I go to the bathroom and do my business. Brushing my teeth and hair. I throw on a pair of black socks and my comfortable combat boots. I glance in the mirror one last time, giving myself a distasteful look before I leave my room and head downstairs.

I find my adoptive parents singing and dancing to, what I presume is, their favorite song. I laughed and leaned in the doorway, eyeing them adoringly. The taller of the two, Rosalie, spots me and smiles. "Let's go shopping now!" She runs to grab her keys. We make our way outside. It was a little chilly out, winter was coming soon.

I followed them, climbing into the back seat of the black Jeep. The women in front were singing and dancing the whole time. When we parked the car, I gotsort of a confused look in my face. It only took twenty or thirty minutes to get here. Where I used to live, it took an hour to an hour and a half and I didn't see a mall on the way in.

We got out when I noticed what Rosalie and Sia were wearing. Rosalie had her dirty blonde curls in a ponytail. She was wearing her camo cargo pants and white crop top that exposes the dark skin of her stomach. Rosalie has chains and had chunky combat boots. Sia was her complete opposite. With her long, delicate white dress, embroidered with strawberries. Her hair is down and she wears a white cardigan. Her slip-on shoes were also white. Everything compliments her freckled ivory skin.

I took out my phone and smiled. I pulled up the camera app. "Hey, Rosalie and Sia. Wanna get a picture?" I looked up to see Rosalie and Sia were looking at me weird. "Huh?" I looked a little confused. I look at my phone and look back at them. I take a picture of all three of us anyways. Nothing is going to stop me. I raised my eyebrow and see their silly faces in the picture. I giggle and stow my phone back in my pocket.

"Time to shop, your first day of senior year is tomorrow. Of all the times, the middle of the year." I followed them into the Hobby Lobby. The most homophobic store ever. They have a lot of cool stuff though. I mean a lot. But it still doesn't excuse the fact they're homophobic.

We left there after a while and went to a Pottery and Cafe shop. They called it Crumbs and Clay. The interior was so nice and clean as the store was quaint and cozy. The cafe Sia ran was in the front while Rosalie was prepping tools and clay for a Pottery class in the back.

After a while of sitting there boredly at the table, I finally stand up. I head towards the door quickly with my bag to leave the shop. "Bye moms! I'm going to look around!" I shut the door and started walking about the large area. But a certain faint smell caught my attention. It smelled good. Like warm pine straw. How strange...

After a bit, the smell getting stronger slowly. As I'm following the smell, I find a group of people. The smell is coming from the tallest guy with light blonde hair. I quickly started to back away timidly. An Alpha. As I was backing away into the nearest Spencers, he he finally caught my scent. He broke away from the group and strutted up to me, only to grab my hand and pull me away from the store front. I look up at him to get a better look at the stage fellow who had started to hurt my wrist with his grip. He's about my age with blonde hair. His jaw looks like it could cut glass.

I was harshly woken from my staring when I was slammed to the wall roughly. I groaned and coughed pain. Why did he have to be so rough? He started growling lightly "Mate," I just stood there, looking at him confusedly. He tried to kiss me and I pulled away with a terrified expression. "You can't kiss strangers! I didn't give you consent to do that!"

I sprayed him in th eyes with the bottle of pepper spray I kept in my belt loop. As he recoiled to rub his eyes, I ran to Sia and Rosalie's shop and hid under a table covered by a large table cloth. I flinched as he rushed into the shop and tried to sniff me out. He seemed obsessive. Not okay in my books.

When I thought I was safe, I let out a sigh. Then the rough hand of my mate grabbed me and pulled me out, pinning me down on the cold lenolium floor. I started to cry and fight to get away. A woman's voice finally broke through my cries. "What is going on here?!" yelled Rosalie, her voice cracking a little. The blonde guy turned, immediately making my adoptive mothers flinch and kneel. I looked in fearful curiosity at the man who claimed to be my 'mate'. "This boy is my mate. I intend to take him home."

I growled and pushed him off. His eyes were red and teary from pepper spray. I started to angrily object to him doing this. "I am not going to some stranger's house and mating with a him just because claims he is my mate. Bring me some receipts and maybe I won't pepper spray you again. Now I am going to be in the Jeep. Good day." With that I walked out the mall with the shopping bags and found the Jeep.

I got in and turned on a random song from my playlist. A few minutes later Sia and Rosalie got in the Jeep. When we arrived at home Rosalie and Sia sat me down for a talk. "Your mate is one of the next Alphas of our pack, the Eclipse pack. Now we want you to realize that is is a huge responsibility for you if it turns out to be true." Sia explained, clasping her hands together thoughtfully. Rosalie added quickly after, "You will be Luna so you will have a few who will object." I nodded and went to my room and fell asleep thinking about what they said. What my mate had said...
