Dante's Point of View:
After Sophie's outburst towards me, she hasn't been paying any attention towards me like what she said she meant it.
I was grading more of my students assignments while they were taking a test.
I hear a knock at the door as me and the students turn to see who it was.
It was Ms. Langston the school's dance teacher."Hi, Mr. Flores... Do you mind if we talk in a hallway for a second?" she asked.
"No not at all" I said as I stopped grading the papers.
"Guys, continue what you're doing and I'll be back" I said to my students."What seems to be the problem?" I ask her.
"Well, I have to leave for a family emergency and I have no one to watch my dance class for last period and I was wondering since you have no last period if you can watch them? Just for today, they're either going to just lay around or dance" she explained."Oh, yeah okay. I can watch them" I said.
"Great, thank you!" she said before running off back to her class.
As for I return back to my class.
It's almost the end of the day and I'm walking down the hall to watch Ms. Langston's dance class for the day.
When I entered the dance class, I forgot and realized that I'll be watching Sophie as well.
We look at each other for a while in complete shock until, she looks away.As I was sitting in a chair reading the newspaper, Sophie paid no attention to me.
She focused on her chatting with her friends until, they started to play their music and started to dance.
Then, the bell rang and it was time to go. As I drove to my house, I now realize that I miss Sophie. And how I wish I can talk to her but, how?
Then I remembered before we stopped talking, Sophie told me that her parents will be going out of town for a while.
So, that's when I'll go see her.
I stood outside her house before approaching the door and ringing the doorbell.
She opened the door to see me and yet still mad at me "What are you doing here?" she asked."Can we talk?" I asked her.
"There's nothing to talk about" she replied."Can I at least see my son?" I asked.
It took her a minute to think knowing that she feels uncomfortable that I''m here in front of her. She nods and makes way for me to enter before closing the door behind me.I held my son in my arms for a while until, he fell asleep.
After, I set him down for his nap I go into the living room to sit in chair as Sophie is on the couch.I stay silent for a while until, I speak "I'm sorry for leaving our son like this and that I hurt you, both of you".
"I don't care, Dante. I still don't know if I can trust you now" she replied.I get up from my chair and walk over to where I'm on my knees in front of her and take her hands in mine. We look into each other's eyes for a while until, I lean in and kiss her lips.
I pull away for a second before I can reconnect them again.
Sophie's Point of View:I try not to give in as he kisses my lips.
He hurt me and left me and his son. But, I can't help myself, I missed him so much.
And here he is at my house with me as our son is sleeping. I just can't help but, feeling his lips on mine again.I can feel him stand as he lifts me up to stand with him. I feel his hands around me as the wander down to my sides.
Before, I know it we're in my room; taking off all of our clothes and end up on my bed as he hovers over me.He continues to kiss me until, we both look into each other's eyes once again and smile. Knowing of how much we have missed each other.
