"Closer Humans. Closer" Lazarus said as Nicole and Isaac neared their destination. They had stocked up with anything they could find that could help Kill Lazarus, "You have arrived. May God help you" he then became Quiet. Nicole and Isaac looked at the Door In front of them, "Of course he's in here...." Nicole said looking at the door which read 'Experimental Room no. 12', "well this was where he was created so I guess That's why he's here" Isaac said readying himself, "Are you sure you want to do this? It will be dangerous. What if....." Isaac was saying before he was hushed by Nicole, "I know its dangerous. But you'll need all the help you can get" Nicole gave him a reassuring smile although inside she knew things were about to get awry.
As they entered they couldn't help but gag at the sight in front of them. Lazarus had made a Mountain of dead bodies in the center of the room and on top of the bodies was a Head impaled on a piece of Rebar acting as a sort of flag, "Like my Decorations?" Lazarus' voice suddenly rang out, "I spent a great deal of time doing this. Now let us get on with the main event shall we?" Suddenly bodies started rising from the mound uttering Vita et Mors, "Goddamnit not these ones again" Isaac said before pulling out an industrial grade Maglight that they found in the Repairmen's room. As the creatures charged at them Isaac shined the light in their faces quickly killing them, "Clever, now let's see if you can fight an enemy you cannot see" and with that a hand Smacked Isaac across the face sending him flying to the wall, "HmHmHm" A voice chuckled evily. Nicole promptly swung her Crowbar towards the spot Isaac was standing on. She missed and the voice taunted her once more. She then had an idea, she ran towards the Xray scanner and activated it showing a woman like figure in front of her, "Got you now bitch!" She then thrust her crowbar into the woman's mouth impaling her. The body fell limp to the floor.
"My, My, My you two have learned haven't you? How about something big for you to deal with" Then something huge came crashing down on the floor from the ceiling as Nicole helped Isaac up, "POUND!" The thing said before charging at the two. They dodged out of the way quick enough that the creature smacked against the wall stunning it. Isaac then Smacked the Sledgehammer on the things back Breaking its spine. It screamed in agony and turned around to try and hit Isaac but as it turned around its head exploded into a Fine Red Mist as Isaac swung hard with his Sledgehammer. Even then it didn't give up, it stumbled blindly towards the two Headless but as it was about to hit Isaac it suddenly fell to the floor dead, "ENOUGH! YOU HAVE SLAUGHTERED MY CHILDREN FOR LONG ENOUGH! NOW YOU SHALL PAY" Isaac and Nicole were then sent flying to the wall by an unseen force.
As they stood Objects started floating in the room, "You shall feel the pain you have caused!" Lazarus yelled and immediately after Objects were sent flying towards the duo. Chairs, Tables, Bits of Machinery, and Bodies were being used as Bullets. Isaac and Nicole Dodged the Objects as best as they could, "Damnit! We need to find cover!" Isaac yelled while Jumping to the side to avoid a persons head being flung at him, "Over there!" Nicole Yelled pointing at a Nearby Wall. The two dashed towards it and took cover right as a Propane tank exploded after being thrown at the spot where they were, "You don't know when to give up do you?".
Then a Metal beam was thrust through the wall nearly Hitting Nicole's Ear. The two got out of the way as 20 more Beams turned the wall into a Pin Cushion of Metal, "Now. Feel the Flames of Hell!" All of a sudden the ground cracked all around them and Lava quickly Rose from the cracks, "GET TO HIGH GROUND!" Isaac yelled jumping on top of a Table and helping Nicole up right before the Lava touched her shoes, "YES! RUN LITTLE PIGS! RUN!" Lazarus yelled before lifting several more objects around the room, "Let us see if you can dodge this" A slab of concrete was ripped off the ground and aimed towards the two, "JUMP!" Nicole yelled jumping onto a Nearby floating Console. Isaac followed right as the concrete slab crushed the table behind them.
They did this over and over. frustrating Lazarus to the point where he would curse them non-stop, "WHY... WON'T..... YOU..... DIE!" Lazarus said while rocketing a piece of the wall at Isaac. Behind Isaac a Metal beam was aiming right for him. Nicole quickly noticed this and ran towards Isaac pushing him out of the way however in the process she is impaled by the Metal Beam, "NICOLE!" Isaac yelled running to her side as Lazarus Laughed in Gleeful triumph, "Nicole.... No, Please, Please....." Isaac said in between sobs hoping Desperately that It wasn't real. That it was just a trick of Lazarus but alas the blood soaking his hand confirmed it was real and he burst into more tears,"I-isaac *cough* Listen to m-me. You can stop him only you can. I-i T-tried m-my best to help but it seems *cough* it wasn't enough" Nicole struggled to say as she caressed Isaac's face.
"Nonono please Nicole Don't die on me now. Please I can't go on without you I just can't you're the most important thing in my life right now and if I lose you. I-I....." Isaac tried to say but he was silenced by Nicole who gave him a weak smile, "I-Isaac. I know You think Y-you can't go on without me. But if you don't go on T-then all of those who died..... Died in vain so P-please Isaac. Stop this Monster I know you can do it" She then gave him a tearful smile and said, "G-goodbye Isaac...... I..... I'll always be W-with you....." And with that she breathed her last. Isaac couldn't even Speak all he could do was mourn for Nicole. Mourn for all of those he has lost. He Tried desperately to Tell himself that none of this was real. That he would soon wake up and find out it was all a horrible nightmare and he would then go to the office and destroy all of this. He tried to imagine himself Dumping Lazarus' Unfinished body into the incinerator and watch as it burned to ashes. But he knew all of it was real and nothing could change what has happened, "I Love you...... Nicole S. Chambers".
Behind him Lazarus chuckled darkly before saying.
"Have you forgotten so easily Isaac? You created me. You brought this Demon into your world. You cost the lives of hundreds of people damning them to the afterlife for all eternity. And for what? For science? or is it for another cause? Maybe it was Fame you sought. Maybe it was to earn the Praise of millions. Maybe it was for your own selfish desires that what has happened has happened. All those dearest to you long gone. Especially the one you feared most would die your dear little Doctor Chambers. Nothing but a Carcass staining the floors. This is your punishment Isaac. This is Hell's Wrath!"
He laughed again darkly. But What surprised him was Isaac's reaction. He stood up and faced Lazarus. He then proceeded to calmly say, "Yes. All of this is my fault. I brought this bloodshed. I Created an Abomination. I Murdered all of my friends...... But I can make this right" Lazarus simply Laughed at his statement, "And How are you supposed to defeat a God?" Isaac gave him a stare. A stare That made even Lazarus, A demon of blood. Flinch.
"You may be a God, But I am your Creator. And if I gave you life. I Can take it back".
Isaac then Bolted towards a Wall and flipped a nearby switch, "Cleansing Sequence engaged" an Electronic voice spoke before suddenly Sparks of Electricity Whipped around the room. One such bolt Struck Lazarus square In the chest and Began to pull him towards the middle of the room, "NO! THIS CANNOT BE! I AM IMMORTAL! I AM EVERLASTING! I AM A GOD!" Lazarus Yelled as Jolts of Electricity Hit his body over and Over again. His body then began to Distort becoming a Grotesque mass of Flesh and Bone, "IMMORTALIS SIM. EGO SUM USQUEQUAQUE. EGO SUM.... MORS PRINCIPIUM!" The mass of flesh spoke before suddenly exploding Into a Ball of Pure Electricity. Pieces of Flesh and Bone splattered across the room right before the ball in the center exploded once more knocking Isaac towards a wall rendering him unconscious.
As Isaac awoke he surveyed the room seeing all of the destruction. He couldn't help but smile thinking after all that has happened this Nightmare is finally over. But He saw and he couldn't believe his eyes. The pieces of flesh strewn across the room were moving slowly towards each other. Rebuilding Lazarus. Isaac with all of his might Quickly got up and ran from the room. But before he exited the room he grabbed a nearby tape recorder from the hands of a Person.
Isaac Ran Frantically searching for a place to hide until finally he could go no further and entered a nearby room. In the corner of the room was a row of Lockers and he quickly hid inside one. While inside he tried as best as he could to describe what took place in the lab. And what he created. But he was cut short by the locker slowly opening revealing, "......Lazarus" Isaac was then pulled out of the locker and skinned alive by Lazarus. After peeling off his skin Lazarus quickly ripped into his body spraying Blood all over the room. after he was satisfied he grabbed the Tape Recorder from what was left of Isaac's Hand and switched it on. "Yesss..... Tell your insignificant people all that you have heard. They will never believe you. Ego destinarat purgandis mentibus praepositam mortis. Ego autem venio ad emundabit Orbis Terrarum" he then dropped the tape recorder before saying, "Vita Et Mors" Lazarus walked towards the facilities exit. But before he did he remembered that he needed to do something before he left.
