Anthony POV:
Watching Chance walk out of the room I sighed and put my head down on Tessa's elbow. I'm so dumb. I shouldn't be doing this or be here with Tessa. Except I wanted to... And I didn't want this to stop. Tessa was waking up and some part of me wanted to pretend to be asleep to see what she would do.... Quickly I layer back down and closed my eyes. I could feel Tessa turn around to face me, I wanted so badly to open my eyes and see her right now but I stopped myself. I NEEDED to see what she was going to do. Soft hands gently went through my hair and down my cheek. Don't move Anthony. I told myself.
Just as I was about to open my eyes I felt Tessa's soft lips on my cheek. Without thinking as Tessa was on the edge of the bed I sprang out and grabbed her by the hips and pulled her back. Tessa's laughter filled my ears making my heart jump, and as I grabbed the covers and pulled her back against me she said in a joyful tone.
" Haha! Anthony what are you doing?" She asked.
Mumbling into her back " Sleeping."
As her body turned around I put my head on my hand and looked at her. My breath caught in my throat. I had seen Tessa in the mornings before but something was different this time, it meant more. Her hair was long and curly and her eye were bright and intoxicating... Tessa's smile could end a million wars. Tightening my fist I stopped myself from reaching out to kiss her.
" Well we can't sleep all day!" Tessa replied.
Groaning I jokingly through my head back on the mattress and asked " Whyyy?"
" Cause Toner.." I looked at her " Things to be done and places to see." She continued her eyes keeping me in her gaze. Tessa got up after and i followed her, I couldn't handle this anymore. Right as she was about to walk out the door I yelled " Tessa." In a semi quiet tone. Causing her to turn around. Taking a deep breath I brought up the courage I had been saving up he part couple of weeks and days.
