????'s POV:
From the infamous guild hall of Fairy Tail, I heard a ruckus of cheering and whooping. They were always loud. My companion and I ventured further towards said hall. I am no longer living in the shadows. I am free now.
"Ready?" I asked my companion with a smile. I am nervous, and she is nervous. "Ready," she replied with a nod. We pushed open the doors and walked in. Everyone stopped.
"JELLAL?!?!?! MEREDY?!?!?!" They all yelled at the same time. I looked around the hall until I came upon some red hair. Erza. I stopped and my eyes met hers. No matter how awkward I felt, I couldn't tear my gaze away.
"Hi guys!" Meredy replied. "We thought, now that Jellal's free, we'd come and visit, and maybe join the guild? If that's ok" I snapped out of my trance. The whole guild erupted into more cheering and whooping, while Erza just stood there not really knowing what was going on.
I decided to walk over to her. "Hey red." I greeted. She just broke down into tears. "Is it really you? Are you really free?" She asked. I hugged her. "Yes, I'm free." I replied. She broke the hug and looked at me. "How's your fiancée?" Uh-oh. Time for the truth. "I don't have a fiancée. I never did. I only said it to protect you." Then hoping she wouldn't hear, I whispered, "but one day you'll be my fiancée."
"What was that?" She asked.
