Shock

I couldn't believe that Eve, Jackie, and Melanie we're the only ones alive. I backed away in shock. I couldn't believe the others were dead. I sat down in the stairs trying to calm down. Eve touched my shoulder and said "Bel it's not your fault don't blame yourself." I didn't answer her. I got up and went back up the stairs and to outside. I didn't want to believe it. I shifted and then howled out in pain cause of my broken heart. I ran to the last place I last saw them. I ran to the old celler we called a fort. We made a promise if we ever got lost we would come here. There were tunnles that go to our houses. I remember when all our parents were fighting so we came down here and hung out. There was old stuff down here. I was looking around still in wolf form. There was a freash sent of twilight mist. The only one who wore that was Mel. I fallowed the sent down the tunnel that led to her house. I stopped at the door and howled. The door was pulled open by a tall blonde lady. She looked at me then said "Bel" She hugged my wolf form. I backed up and shifted back to a human. I was only in a sports bra and shorts. Mel ran up to me and hugged me. I hugged back and said "The others are dead. But you Eve and Jackie are alive. What happened after I left?" I was gone for 2 years because my grandma wanted me to meet more family. Mel said "Well after you left everything went to hell. No joke. Our parents died of old age. The school cought fire. Stores were closing down.  Jackie didn't have her cuddle buddy so she started having nightmares and Eve hasn't come down here since you left. This town looks like a ghost town." All I did was nodd then I said "Come on we are call going to get this place to back how it was starting with the Halloween bash we have every year and throw the party. After we make our houses look better." Mel nodded and I shifted back to wolf and went to the center then howled the howl that calles us to the center. Eve came and then Jackie. I went back to human and Jackie yelled "Amy your back" She jumped on me and gave me a long hug. She cold slender fingers ran over my six pack. I shivered and said "Come on lets go show this town how Halloween works. I came in and nothing was decorated. So Eve Mel go start getting ready for the bash and make flyers. Ja your with me let's go get decorations and set up for the party. We have 48 hours let's go." We all spreaded out to start on the amazing things we always do for this town.
