Starting Off New
"Have you ever wished upon a star? I have, but my dreams deceived me."

A eleven year old girl sat on the counter in the guild, Fairytail. Her large purple eyes gleaming as she awaited Master Makarov to choose the lucky one who will participate in the S-class wizard tryouts. Everyone was worked up about, though the current S-Class wizards were just grinning evily.

After he chose the participates who were Natsu, Gray, Juvia, Elfman, Cana, Freed, Levy, and some guy named Mest. The eleven year old Infinity had never heard his name, but shrugged. She didnt know all the members in this guild anyway. This would be an interesting battle to see, of course. They all cheered, and some of the other guild members booed. They were just jealous that they didnt get chosen.

Excitement pumped through the young S-Classes mages veins as she hopped off the counter and grinned at the team going to Tenrou island. Eh, she was just gonna call em 'Team Tenrou' seeing as thinking it out bothered her. It was too long. Wendy, her bestfriend casually strod up to her.

"Heeeey Infinity." Wendy spoke, her dark hazel eyes meeting Infinity's purple ones. Infinity took the hint she wanted something, seeing this she arched a white eyebrow.

"Yes Wendy?" Infinity responded, interested in what her friend wanted. It probably wasn't good either. Infinity was apart of Team Natsu as well and she was happy with that. Infinity's hands fell to the end of her dress, rubbing her fingers against the fabric.

"Is there a way you could get me to Tenrou island?" Wendy spoke incredibly fast, looking around making sure Carla wasn't around. Meanwhile, Carla was busy with Happy flirting with her.

Infinity laughed, tilting her head to the side before clearing her throat. Crossing her arms across her chest, she responded with sympathy. "Sorry Wendy, can't do that. Go find a partner to pair with. Im sure one of them would love to have a Dragon Slayer on their side. Plus, who's gonna take down Natsu?"

Wendy then grinned wickedly, ideas sprouting in her head. Looking up to her friend she pushed the grin off and replaced it with a friendly smile. She waved, "Alright Infinity! Thank you, see you around!"

Infinity returned the wave with a smile on her pale lips. Looking up, she felt someone's gaze pouring into the back of her head. Turning, she spotted Master Makarov waving her over. Confused, she walked over with a small amount of hesitation.

When she reached him, he cleared his throat. Infinity's blood ran cold. Was something wrong? Was he provoking her from her S-class station? Was he going to kick her out of the guild? Makarov seemed to notice her sudden unease and chuckled.

"Child, no need to fell uneasy around me." He started, catching her attention. "This year I want you to stay behind. I can't risk leaving the guild without a higher member. Plus, I have this weird sensation something will happen."

She blinked three times at him. Disbelief and understandment in her hues. Fiddling with the end of her dress she nodded. "I'm fine with that Master, thank you for allowing me to know. Also, didnt you leave the guild alone last year?" She asked, arching an eyebrow.

He narrowed his eyes at her playfully, before laughing loudly. This caught a few of the other members attention. He then started talking, again. Infinity was just happy she had someone to talk to. "You're welcome, and yes, yes I did. Worst thing I ever did. You do remember what we came back to, dont you?"

The white haired girl then laughed, the right side of her bangs were longer then the left, this being so it covered a bit of the right eye. "Yes I do. Frankly, I was suprised to see they hadn't destroyed the guild hall."

He smiled. Though in his old age, he had watched most of the members in the guild grow up, Infinity had been here for quite some time. "Yes, agreed. Now that's all I needed to tell you, so you can scram."

She frowned, nodding before turning off. Her long white hair, which reached half her waist swayed as she walked. Approaching all that had been selecting to go to Tenrou island, she smiled.

"Congratulations guys!" Infinity laughed. She was answered by many thanky you's and hell yeahs. They met tomorrow, and she would watch them leave. After talking for awhile, she let out a yawn, deciding she should return to Fairy hills. Leaving the guild hall, she started to skip her way there. The white haired girl wished for a companion to communicate with, it was lonely. Possibly one day, but not anytime soon.

Soon enough Infinity reached Fairy hills. Her small, gentle hands brushed against the stone bridge as she looked at it. It was carved by hand it appeared, not to old, not to fragile. It was perfect. Opening the doors, she noticed Cana asleep on the couch a wine bottle in her hand. Infinity shook her head, she hoped the brunette was ready for tomorrow, truly. Walking down the halls, she finally made it to her room, pushing the door open she was met with a purple room. In it were bean bags, a staff hung on the wall, a purple bed with small green dots. On the wall hung pictures of her and a boy.

One she could not remember frankly.

Tossing herself onto her silky sheets on her bed she stretched, a yawn escaping her lips again. Rolling over, she threw the blankets over her head and her face layed in a pillow. Her hair hung loosely to her face as she slowly closed her radiat purple orbs. Slowly but surely, all she could see was darkness.

First chapter accomplished! What do you think of it? It took me about 19 minutes in total to complete it. Yes its sorta short, but atleast a chapter is out.
