Chapter Seventeen

Jimin groaned, slowly opening his eyes. He felt his arms and legs aching due to being restrained.

"He's finally up," He heard a familiar voice but he wasn't able to see who the person was clearly. He stared at the wooden planks beneath his feet, then he felt a hand against his throat. "Look at me," The person said, roughly lifting Jimin's bleeding head.

Jimin ached in pain, he felt powerless and felt nothing but regret. "It's Gayoung!" She sang, leaving a peck on Jimin's cheek. Gayoung exclaimed, holding Jimin's phone, "Smile!" She took a picture of him and sent it to Yoongi.

Yoongi cursed, "You've got to be fucking kidding me! It's been three years, is she seriously not over me!" He grabbed his jacket, about to leave the party.

"Where are you going, Yoongster?" Namjoon asked, slightly laughing. Nobody had seen Namjoon and Jin for almost the whole entire night. Yoongi didn't say anything but showed Namjoon the text message. Namjoon gasped, "Hyung, don't you think you should call the cops?"

"Namjoon, she'll kill him. If she's crazy enough to do this, she won't be afraid to do worse," Yoongi said and left the house before Namjoon could respond.

Gayoung smirked as she heard knocks on the door of the abandoned warehouse. She opened the door, glad to see Yoongi standing there by himself. "Where the fuck is he?" Yoongi asked, angered at the sight of Gayoung.

"Baby, you're not gonna get what you want if you act that way," Gayoung said, pulling him inside the warehouse. She traced Yoongi's chest with her painted fingernails, seductively. Yoongi grabbed her wrist roughly, causing her to stop, "Don't touch me."

Jimin still wasn't able to see, he felt like he was dying because of the amount of pain he was feeling. He looked at the blurry figures across the room, trying to figure out who it was.

"Better talk nicely to my best friend."

Yoongi let go of Gayoung's wrist and turned around. He his jaw clenched as well as his fists, "How could you do this to Hoseok!? I swear to god if you don't let my boyfriend go--"

"What are you going to do about it?" Eva crossed her arms, smirking.

"Y-Yoongi--" Jimin managed to say. Yoongi ran towards his boyfriend's voice. "I'm so sorry, Jimin. I'm sorry this had to happen," Yoongi apologized with tears in his eyes. He managed to untie the ropes that no longer withheld Jimin.

Yoongi lifted Jimin into his arms, bridal-style. "Just let me take him to the hospital. I am the person you want. I'll come back. Just leave Jimin alone," Yoongi said pushing past Gayoung and Eva, quickly leaving the warehouse. He quickly ran to the nearest hospital.

After arriving at the emergency room, the doctors quickly placed Jimin in a room. About a hour later, a nurse came out of Jimin's room. Yoongi asked, leaning against the wall. "Will he be okay? Is everything alright?"

"He's pretty stable right now but he might have to stay here for a couple of days. Maybe about two weeks. You don't have any idea how this happened? It looks like an assault injury. We did a CT scan and it looks like he has subdural hematoma. A subdural hematoma is a collection of blood outside the brain. Subdural hematomas are usually caused by severe head injuries," The nurse explained.

She added, "Some symptoms occur after a few days or so. Which is one reason why we have to keep him here. If his skull or brain get any worse we will have to do surgery but so far it doesn't seem like it'll get any worse."

Yoongi sighed deeply, he buried his face into his palms. He blamed himself for everything. "It's all my fault," He thought to himself, beginning to cry. "I'm sure he'll be okay," The nurse said sympathetically.

Yoongi wiped his tears, remembering that he had to go back to the abandoned warehouse. "I have to go," He said then eventually found the exit.

"What do you want from me?" Yoongi asked, walking back into the warehouse. Gayoung crossed her arms, "That's an easy question. I want you to break up with Jimin and date me. Simple as that."

Eva stood next to Gayoung, not saying anything at all. "I'm not breaking up with Jimin," Yoongi said proudly then looked at Eva. "I can't believe you'd just lie to us like that for four years. I thought you loved Hoseok, why are you doing this to his best friend?" He questioned, glaring at her.

Eva scoffed, "Best friend? You know you see Jimin and Hoseok as something more just like I do. So if I have to kil---take Jimin out of the picture then I will."

"Are you serious!? Hoseok loves you! He wanted to have kids with you and have you in his life forever! How could you just turn around and stab all of us in the back like this?!" Yoongi yelled.

Gayoung screamed, "Nobody cares about Eva and her horse boyfriend! All that matters is you and me, Yoongi!"

"What did you just call my boyfriend?" Eva asked, glaring at Gayoung. "He isn't a horse and don't forget who has the knife," She said, pulling out a pocket knife without hesitation.

Yoongi's eyes widened, "Eva put the knife away. This isn't who you are. You're that happy girl that asks cute and silly questions, making everyone laugh. Don't let jealousy and anger get the best of you."

"Isn't who I am?" She began laughing psychotic, "You don't even know me." Suddenly Gayoung held tightly onto Yoongi's arm and stuttered, "I-I'm scared."

Eva didn't do this because she wanted to be Gayoung's friend. She did it because she loved Hoseok so much and she didn't want to lose him to anyone.

Yoongi ignored Gayoung's comment, "Eva, let's just go back to Namjoon and Jin's house and forget about this, okay? Things don't have to be like this."

"You're a fucking psycho!" Gayoung suddenly yelled. Eva smirked, "You think this is psycho? I can stab you right now and feel no pain at all."

Then all three of them began to internally panic when they heard police sirens nearby. Yoongi yelled over the sirens, "Eva, drop the knife and let's get out of here!"

Eva's hands began to shake out of fear and anger, wondering what would happen after all of this. Would Yoongi tell Hoseok? Would Hoseok break up with her? Would Hoseok try to date Jimin?

While Eva was lost in her thoughts, Yoongi knocked the knife out of her hand. He pulled both of the girls out of the warehouse and ran somewhere far away.
