Ch7: THE NEWS

Alysa's P.O.V

"Hmmuhmahmuh" she said something I couldn't understand, she sighed again. "Soy tu Madre biológica" (I'm your biological mother) she spoke, I started crying and ran out the door jumping the school fence, running into the forest. "NO PUEDO CREER ESTO!"(Translation: I can't believe this!)I ran to the stream and went up to the bridge. I moved a few rocks and crawled through making myself under the hollow bridge. No body knew about this place but me and Hail. We had food stashed away, lights hanging, a battery powered fan, blankets to sit on, board games, and a little bridge so that the water coming from under the main bridge wouldn't block our path from one side to another. I sat on one of the blankets and threw rocks to the opposite side from where I was sitting. I was mad but sad at the same time. I was also happy it was just a mix of emotions.

Ding! My phone screamed indicating that I got a message and of course it was from Lana
L-where are you?
I just left her on read and turned off my phone. Ding! There it is again I checked but this time it was Hailey.
H-Where the hell did you go?
A-our hideout

I exited messages and pulled out my ear buds from my pocket
Plugged them in and started listening to my liked songs on pandora. I grabbed a tennis ball that was in the corner and started bouncing it from one side back to my side. I grabbed my ear buds from my pocket and started to listen to Bruno mars. I was bouncing the ball back and forth, suddenly I saw a shadow at the corner of my eye. I immediately chucked the ball at the shadow. I walked up with a bat and poked the body that was on the ground. "Oww" oh wow I know who this is. "are you ok?!" I asked walking up to Lana I hold out my hand bringing her up. "I'm sorry I gave you away I thought you would have a better life with a better family. I didn't want you to grow up with paparazzi every where you go. I thought it was the best for you. I-I-I..." she sighed "I'm so sorry" she stopped. I walked closer to her and hugged her smiling. "I-I forgive you Lana" I spoke crying, we let go and I was tearing up. Lana wiped my tears away and spoke "Your so beautiful" she kissed my forehead. "NO you are!" I said back giggling, she smiled she looked away from me with an amazed face. She started walking around, "this is a nice setup you got here, how long did it take you two to set this all up?" I looked and her and giggled "two days" I answered her. Lana sat down on one of the blankets and started speaking "this will be your choise... you can come back to Vancouver with me IF and only IF you really want to". "How long do I have to decide?" I asked, "1 HOUR and 30 minutes. I know it's a short time but I have to go to work soon, I need to film." She answered. I nodded my head, and smiled "You should do it" I heard a voice behind me. I turned around "Hailey are you sure?" I asked. "I'm sure." She answered smiling "Thanks. Hey Lana I need to ask all of my other friends" I said nodding my head. "Shut the f up you know damn well 'Friends' means just ms. Johnson you ain't got any more friends other than me" Hailey tells me. Lana looked at me and starts to die she was laughing so hard I have to record this. I grab my phone and start recording, "d-d-d" she continued laughing "don't post this" she continued laughing. She slowed down and took a deep breath. I stopped recording "oh my God I lost track of time I need to go cook lunch for foster care!" I rushed to the foster care. I got there and started cooking burritos for everyone. I have decided I grabbed my box of clothes that was only 14" by 28". I'm going with Lana to Vancouver I texted Lana
A-hey where u at?
L-IM EXPLORING THIS PLACE IS BEAUTIFUL
A-Exploring where?!
L-chill I haven't been bombarded with fans...YET
A-phew still where u at?
L-HEY forest it's so beautiful

L-wow ok

I walked to bradonson park which is just across the street from foster care. I walked with my box and just sat down at the bench a few minutes later Lana comes running to me. A crowd of people were running after her. "Just sit down I'll deal with this." I say as I stand up, Lana sits down and I start speaking. "Okay everyone If you want a picture, or autograph, or both you line up right here and listen people! I want a straight line and ONLY a straight line IF you can't do that nobody is getting a autograph or picture! IS THIS UNDERSTOOD!" I watched as people made a straight line "Understood!" The now straight line yells in unison. Lana starts signing and taking pictures with all of the fans.

We get to the last fan and as I'm taking the picture for the fan I see the time. "Shit! Lana It's been an hour we have to go!" I snap a few pictures and give the phone back to the fan. Lana signs something for the fan and hurries I grab my box and Lana dials somebody's number. "Hey Jeff I need to go to the airport I am at bradonson park right now... Ok good thanks" (I just thought of the name Jeff it's Lana's limo driver in this book). I see a limo pull up and I literally scream. I put the box into the trunk and see a suitcase. I open it up and it is empty "Hey Lana who's suitcase is this?" I ask, "I brought it just in case you would need it just throw all of your stuff in it!" She yelled from the back seat of the limo. I threw everything I had in my box into the suitcase. It was a royal purpal suitcase fair size. I closed the trunk and got into the back seat next to Lana. "OOH CANDY"I said after I see candy, I start eating most of it. I turn around with reeces peanut butter cup in my hand and Lana is recording. I start laughing and she stops recording, taking in all of the candy as the car was driving to the airport.
