Tied up // Miraculous Ladybug Short Story

Part 1.

We sat on the cold concrete floor, tied at the arms so tightly it was impossible to break or untie on our own. Back to back we sat, as we had been for at least a minute now in silence. Two masked people had tied us up while we were on our way back from an akuma attack. It caught us by surprise and before we could think about it, the two masked men had tied us tightly together by the wrists.

Chat noirs cataclysm had been used, and so had my lucky charm. We were hopeless.

"Chat I-I don't know what to do." I admitted. It's the first time I had admitted to being helpless, and that's exactly how I felt. Sat on the cold concrete with only the dim light from the street lamps at the end of the alley way, I fiddled again with the rope on my wrists. With no luck, I gave up.

"I don't know either Ladybug, but I know that I will respect your wishes no matter what. I won't peak I promise." I was confused at first by this sudden remark but as if it was on cue, my earrings flashed for the final time.

Red lit up our dark corner enough for anyone passing to spot us. It was cold, dark and windy, especially since my thick bodysuit had just been taken away from me. I began to shiver against chats back, unable to pull my sleeves down or anything of the sort.

I snuggled into his back, collecting the warmth his black suit gave off. Chat noirs power had been used just before we ended up like this so he had at least 5 minutes before he would be sat in the cold like me, trying to steal any spare warmth from each other's back.

I could turn around just far enough to see the side of Chats arm, meaning he would be able to see my civilian self if he tried hard enough. But he kept to his word and stayed facing straight.

"I'm sorry my lady, I want to keep you warm but I can't. It makes me feel so helpless to feel you shivering against my back." There was a short pause before the normal Chat came back into play. "But on a happy note, this is as close as my little Bugaboo has ever been to me, let alone snuggled up to my back. It must be a special day for me!"

We both laughed, making the best of the moment before we were able to find a way out. Tiki snuggled inside my bag out of the cold. It was coming up to winter so it was almost snowy weather outside.

"It's taking all the power left in me to not look behind me." Chat spoke softly, nuzzling his head onto mine. "I've always wondered who you were, who my side kick, my partner, maybe even the love of my life is." That made me warm and fuzzy to hear him say that. Though he isn't the love of my life, he still definitely holds part of my heart. And yes, I will admit I love him a little bit but I try to make it so it isn't that obvious.

The walls around us glowed green as I felt Chat shift between his cat self and his civilian self. I could feel the different clothes on the side of my face go from latex to cotton in an instant. I could see his bare arm out of the corner of my eye which made me shiver at the thought. "Chat you must be so cold!"

"Im o-ok." He replied, clearly now feeling the cold, just as I was. "As long as I can keep you warm My Lady, I'll be ok."

"Chat, what happens when we do find a way out?" I asked, lifting my head up so I could adjust my position. Having your hands tied behind your back wasn't comfortable at all, especially when you were tied to another person with straw like rope. "I mean, we can't transform again and there is only one way out of this alleyway."

"I want you to know who I am Ladybug. I want to be true to you. I hate hiding behind this mask and I know you always take it like a joke but I do love you ladybug, I really do." Chat blurted out. Everything was silent apart from the wind that was rushing through the streets. I didn't know what to say really, I mean, I always kind of knew that he loved me but I would just brush it away as I really only had eyes for Adrien. I tried not to make it too obvious but I had small feelings for Chat, kind of like those feelings you get when you first start liking someone and you get all warm and fuzzy every time you see them.

"I want to show you too Chat, b-but not yet." I was too insecure to show him who I really was. What if he knew me as a civilian. He would see how clumsy I was, he would see the side I didn't want him to see. "I-I.." I started to say before we were interrupted by an orange figure landing beside us. I looked up to look at them, seeing it was one of the newest members of the miraculous holders. Volpina.
