She stood there, staring at us like she had seen a ghost. Volpina; the never scared, never stunned, new recruit to our miraculous team was standing there like we were ghosts.

"Volpina?" I asked, but could barely get out anymore words before she burst out laughing, trying to hold in tears that were streaming down her face.

"You guys!" She managed to say. "You guys, how did YOU GUYS get tied like this?!" She was totally amused. Did she know me? Did she know Chat?

"Marinette girl let me untie you too. What were you trying to do, I mean, you do you but-" I cut her off there.

"No! We were walking and two masked men.... robbed us? Yes. Robbed us!" I couldn't give away that we are on patrol, and I had no idea who Chat really was so who knows what she would of thought if she really does know him.

"Marinette....?" I heard Chat Noir whisper behind me. Shit. She said my name. This was horrible absolutely horrible! Things were swirling through my mind. Thoughts on what could happen, what he thought, what he was going to say. Did he know me? Did he not and was just repeating my name? Did he not like that it was me?!

"You, you know who I am volpina?" I spoke softly, tears welling up in my eyes. "Do you know... us?" I said softy again, adjusting my position as I was physically and mentally uncomfortable.

"Yeh of course girl we are the same age, but I can't give too much away can I!" Volpina giggled, not noticing my tears or the stunned cat tied to my back. He said it again, whispering my name under his breath so only I could here.

"Let me untie you too shall I!" She knelt down to untie our hands but it was no use. "I'm going to need a knife, and one made out of an illusion won't do no good. Stay here, which won't be too hard." Laughing at her own joke, she left to grab a knife from god knows where while we sat and waited for her return.

"Marinette?" Chat Noir said louder this time. I burst. I couldn't take it anymore.

"I know Chat and I'm really sorry. I'm sorry I'm just that clumsy girl without my mask on. I'm sorry I'm a disappointment. I'm sorry I-" he cut me off before I could continue.

"Marinette! Let me finish!" He giggled softly. "I'm happy, I really truely am. I'm so happy it's you and I couldn't ask for anyone better, I promise. It's me that should be scared by your reaction. I'm just a scrawny little teenage model who everyone just sees as that rich kid with that rich dad. Oh what's his name again? Who knows."

"Adrien.." I mumbled under my breath. I didn't mean to say it out loud but joining the dots, it couldn't be anyone else. Obviously not joining all those bad things together, but I've heard the things people have said about him, all those jealous rumours about his wealth and his already steady career, and obviously he had heard them as well. I felt him try turn around to look at me but he could only get so far before he couldn't turn any further. I turned as well and managed to turn far enough to look him in the eyes. My mouth hung open just as Volpinas did when she first found us.

"Adrien." I breathed out, loud enough to be heard this time. "Adrien no one thinks that of you. Everyone loves you and looks up to you."

"Not everyone." He sighed and I knew exactly what he meant. "Not the people I want to love me. Not my father, not you." Adrien paused, realising what he had said.

"Are you kidding me! Adrien are you blind. I've loved you since the day you handed me that silly umbrella on your first day of school. I only had eyes for you and that's why I tried to push Chat away, I was just scared that maybe, I don't know, Adrien might one day love me back?" I sighed deeply into the cold air. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you feel like that..."

"Ok love birds I'm back to save you!" Volpina jumped in, saving us from the awkward situation. "You two look freezing!" She said as she sawed away at the rope. "You guys should go home and get all rugged up. I don't know how long you've been out here but I've been out here only a couple of minutes and I'm freezing!" Volpina laughed as she chucked the rope to the side. "All free! I've got to go but I know you guys can manage your way back safely. Try not to get tied up like that again!" She giggled as she lept away out of sight.

I turned to face Adrien as fast as I possibly could, my hair flying in the cold wind as I spun. "Adrien I never meant to make you feel like that I promise." I looked at the ground and held my hands tightly together to try warm them from the cold.

I felt Adrien as he grabbed both my hands. He had been looking at me the whole time with his bright green eyes. "Mari I'm sorry I didn't mean to lash out like that, I was just hurt from all these feelings coming In at once. But hey, look who my amazing partner is! Look at what an amazing person has been hiding under that mask! Even if it wasn't the right time to discover our identities, I'm glad that I can now know who's fighting crime with me every day, by my side." Adrien smiled with the biggest smile I'd ever seen. I almost passed out with all the emotions running through my body.

"Besides, now you can hear my awesome puns all day every day, because I know how much you love them bugaboo." He winked at me and this time I almost passed out for a different reason.

"Keep the puns to Chat Noir if you want me to continue liking you!" I laughed and lightly pushed him on the shoulder. The cold of his skin reminded me of how cold the winters air was. "Let's get back to the bakery before we freeze up, mon minou."

And finally part 2. Hope you're enjoying! This is the last part but if enough support is left, I may do some small chapters here and there. Thanks for reading xx
