"Earth to Taehyung?" said the elder as he waved a hand in front of the younger's face in attempt to grasp his attention.

Yoongi had finished the last few orders after Jisoo left, once his watch struck 9 pm he turned the 'open' sign around to 'closed' and began to clean up the place, dusting the floors and re-stocking on books.

At around 9:15 he had finished. Gathering his stuff, closing and locking up at the shop as he headed back to his house. It was particularly cold that night as Christmas was approaching, trees were leafless as thin layers of snow covered the skeleton of them. Couples seemed to be everywhere at this time of the year, buying presents for each other or walking down the street hand in hand, letting out obnoxious giggles that yoongi couldn't stand.

"Annoying" he murmured under his breath as he walked past a couple who were being a bit too intimate for out in the open. He  turned a corner which took him to his apartment. He walked up the stairs and towards his apartment door, opening the door to encounter a sleeping Taehyung, resting on the couch.

Yoongi sigh as he gently kicked the younger with his foot, enough to let him know he was in his presence, causing the other to protest.

Taehyung slowly opened his eyes to be greeted by a smirking Yoongi "what?" he asked, stretching out his arms as he let out a yawn, "nothing, just wanted to see if you were still breathing" he chuckled before heading towards the bedroom, leaving Taehyung in a confused yet annoyed state.

Throwing his things to the side Yoongi groaned, as his back hit the bed with a satisfying thud. His small frame willingly sprawled across the bed sheets as he stared up at the ceiling.

"Hey hyung?" came Taehyung voice from the living room as he walked towards Yoongi's bedroom "Yea whats up?" he replied, sitting up on the bed to meet the younger's eyes.

"So you know how Christmas is in two weeks right?" he began "Well i will be leaving to visit my family back in Daegu, and I was just wondering if you will be ok in the house by yourself, since most of our friends will be leaving you know?"

Yoongi didn't hesitate before he answered a slightly confused look on his face "Yea sure i'll be fine, why do you ask?"

"It's just you haven't seen your parents or family for so long now and, don't you ever get, lonely?" the younger replied, the last word seemed to drift of his tongue as it replayed in Yoongis mind.

He simply shrugged before laying back down on the bed "I'll be fine, really" he said letting out a not so convincing laugh.

Yoongi and his family weren't on the best of terms, ever since they found out that Yoongi was Bi they stopped talking to him and basically kicked him out of the house. They were the typical parents that pictured Yoongi with a nice wife, two kids, and a dog, the stereotypical family. So when they found out about his desire to not to be the "perfect" man he was thought out to be, he was shoved.

As for his Christmas plans, he didn't have any. Most years he would hang out with his friends, unfortunately, this year wasn't quite the same, most of his friends where leaving the city, going back to family and friends for the holidays.

"Hyung, im going out to meet a friend, I'll be back in a bit!" Taehyung called from the hallway before closing the door.

Yoongi got up from his bed heading towards the kitchen "I wonder if Taehyung left me any leftovers in the fridge?" he mumbled to himself as he approached the fridge door

He softly yanked it open scanning it for food, there was nothing Yoongi could find to eat as he sigh softly to himself "I'll just head to a convenience store to get ramen" Eating ramen was the best during the wintery season, so he wasn't upset at all.

Slipping on a pair of boots before grabbing his jacket from the hook, he took his stuff and left the house to head to the nearest store. It was about 5 minutes away on foot which wasn't bad at all.

Yoongi walked down the street as he admired the faint street lights and the people walking by. The snow fell from the sky, making the roads slightly icy, so he made sure to walk carefully in each step he took.

Eventually making it to the store he pulled back the hood on his jacket as he brushed away the snow that had landed on him before fully entering the shop. He walked down towards the 'ready meal' section as he scanned across the isle before picking up a cup that said 'cup ramen' on the front in big yellow and black block letters, a slight smile appeared on his face for no particular reason as he headed down towards where they sold the drinks, picking out a bottle of soju.

"Are you going to drink that all by yourself?" A familiar voice came from beside him, he quickly turned to see who this voice belonged to, to find Hoseok standing in front of him, holding a packed of ramen, a smile spread across his face.

"Fancy seeing you here" Yoongi said, as a faint smile began to creep across his face "Yea, kind of had no food in my house so I always resort to this if I'm to lazy to cook" Hoseok said holding up his cup of ready made ramen and shaking it around slightly, "Same situation" the elder replied with a chuckle.

"So about that soju bottle, are you planing on sharing?" Hoseok was raising an eyebrow towards Yoongi as he switched gazes between the man holding the soju bottle and the bottle itself, "I mean I wasn't planing on it but if you insist" the other replied in a sarcastic tone, "you free right now?" Yoongi said without thinking, instantly regretting his choice of words at the realisation of what he had just said.

Hoseok didn't look to surprised at this, almost as if he was waiting for Yoongi to ask him this "No, I'm very expensive at the moment" he replied striking a pose as the other let out a laugh.

They ended up buying the bottle of soju and the ramen, heading back Yoongis place, on the way conversation bloomed from both of them.

"So are you going back home for Christmas this year?" Yoongi asked in such a casual way, it felt as if he had known the other for ages, it just felt so natural and not awkward, unlike many other situations he had been in.

"No, not this year, my parents say they are currently 'really busy' which doesn't make much sense as I don't think there is much an almost 70 year old couple could get up to" Hoseok replied with a laugh "But each to their own I guess" he said as he looked down at the pavement.

Yoongi hummed in response, glancing at the younger before directing his view back in front of him.
