The sound of the dog woke me up. It was 5 in the morning and it was the first day of school. I went to the bathroom and took a quick bath. Then, I ate my breakfast and prepared myself for the first day of school.
My name is Blythe Anne Smith. I have dark brown hair, I'm short, and I love to take care of stray dogs. My parents are both in the U.S.
I have two younger siblings. Basically, I'm left here in the Philippines with my sister and grandmother. My baby brother lives in the U.S. with my mom and dad.
Upon arriving in school, I feel excited. At the same time, scared. I feel excited because I'm going to see my friends and meet new ones. I feel scared because who knows if they will still be my classmate since my best friend, Allison, transferred to another school.
I'm also excited because I'll be seeing my crush again! :'))
As I stepped out of my car, I immediately went to the hall. On my way, I saw some of my friends and some greeted me. When our teachers arrived, we started the assembly. We prayed and did the usual routine as last school year. Then, they called out our names and the sections we belong to.
I found out that Alex and I are classmates. We, then, met a new student named Andrea which happens to be a classmate of ours. She became our best friend and we met Athena, Janine, Rose, and Nicole. They were also my classmates years ago. We made a group and called it "The Umbrella Girls" . We came up with that group name since it happened to rain and we gathered ourselves under one umbrella.
