You weren't exactly what people called normal, in fact you were the definition of insane if it wasn't for hanji somehow being able to help win a court case you would have been fed to the titans. You always had a plain look on your face but you would laugh if someone was hurt and just had the wickedest grin anyone had ever seen, hanji saw you as a new species and would do tests with you. You had come to consider her a friend but only her and her assistant, anyone else you gave the crazy look to ran for the hills and says they'd rather jump into a titans mouth than watch you. Hanji considered you an actual person and not some mentally ill pysco that everyone hated.

You heard about hanji' new experiment, a Titan shifter and honestly that interested you since you never really saw people other than hanji and her assistant or on the rare Erwin and Levi, you were hidden in a secret room in a cage like structure with silks and things hanging from the ceiling which you often swung on, you heard the door of the room open and the cheerful voice of hanji rang out
'(Y/N)!!!' She called as you slid down hanging upside down in front of her

'Hiya sugar, what can I do for ya today hehe?' You smiled as she was already use to your weirdness
'I want you to meet Eren, you know the Titan boy?' You smiled devilishly as you nodded with a laugh

'Good cause I'm gonna bring him here to met you' she exclaimed as you landed in the floor and walked up to the bars with a grin

'YAY! You know I love a new friend haha' you laughed as she smiled
'I know, hold on I'll be right back' she walked out as you pulled yourself back into one of the hoops hanging down and sat in it swinging gently while humming a tune

You almost fell as you spotted the new figure in the door way, teal eyes staring into your own and slowly you lowered yourself and walked up to the bars and you smiled

'Hiya pudding, (y/n) (l/n) nice to meet ya' you stuck a hand through the bars as the boy looked back at hanji
'Don't worry he wouldn't bite you, anymore at least' she chuckled as he hesitantly shook yourhand with a small smile

'Eren Yeager, nice to meet you' he half smiled as you giggled then turned to hanji

'I like him!' You giggled as he looked at you in aww making you confused

'What, never seen a crazy person before?' You smiled as he just shook his head and smiled again
'No I just never seen someone so......cute' he smiled as you blushed, you'd never been called cute, only mentally ill names like freak and what not. You stepped back and gave him a strange look

'What's wrong (y/n)?' Hanji asked concerned
'He-he thinks I'm cute?' You couldn't figure out what you felt but it was new and strange

'(Y/n)?' You looked up only to meet hanji's eyes

'Eren is sorta like you, he knows what it's like to be treated differently because of what he is and how he acts, just give him a chance and hey maybe you'll get out of here' she smiled as you looked away then towards the tiny window you had showing a blue sky

'You mean I can go out there? In the sun, rain, snow, sleet whatever weather and I can actually feel it, feel the warmth of the sun the cold of snow and rain and all that!' You asked excited as she nodded
'Haha YAY!' You danced around as Eren smiled at your joy

'Well I need to go check on bean, Eren you wouldn't mind staying with (y/n) and talking with him for a bit, you guys are gonna see each other a lot more so why don't you get to know each other!' She smiled as your eyes lit up in glee
