Who knew the world would kill itself after soulmate's names appeared.

A war broke out between North America and Europe, rather than a civilized discussion, violence was the only answer they knew.
It effected the whole world. Not a single country wasn't touched, at least, that's what everyone was saying.

13 years later the occasional gunshots or aircraft could still be heard.
She always wondered why it never ended.

'I wanted to travel the world after highschool...' Emil woke at early dawn, and sat on the bunk thinking,
'You'd think humanity would fix itself up by now...'

"A-mel-e-aana? That's a funny sounding name... hey Danny look!" Winter poked his twin.
He was mesmerized by the letters glowing, slightly different colours for each letter. They stayed up all night because now they were officially 10 years old. They both anxiously waited for a name to appear on one of their wrists since the afternoon before.
Though, his twin's wrist never began glowing, no name appeared.
"Maybe you're a late bloomer? That's another thing different about us, we don't get our soulmate's name at the same time!" Winter tried to comfort his disappointed looking brother.
His brother stayed quiet for a while before speaking,
"Come on, we should probably sleep now, mom will know we stayed up all night if we sleep in or refuse to wake up"
"Okay... goodnight Danny"
"Goodnight."
Winter laid on his bed staring at his wrist, running his fingers gently over the letters, they felt like nothing but gave the young boy a warm fuzzy feeling in his chest. He fell asleep before they fully dimmed down and left the name,
Emiliana.
