TRACK 1 : i'm
The bustling streets of Seoul City is always the one in-charge to wake Kang Sohee up, as well as her ringing phone. Someone was calling her. She was neither really fond of alarms, nor people calling her early in the morning. She had no classes, after all.
"Hello?" she said with a low grunt, obviously irritated with whoever disturbed her sleep.
"Oh I'm sorry, were you asleep?" the voice of Kwon Souhyun was the first thing Sohee had heard.
"Not anymore, because of you. Where are you, anyway?" she shifted and turned around to check Souhyun's bed, which was, as expected, neatly made.
"I'm running some errands," her best friend answered, "I called you 'cause I need you to do a favor for me."
"Early in the morning? No thank you." Sohee declined. "Are you kidding me? It's not 'early in the morning'. It's ten-thirty, and I'm out buying things to make for lunch. Don't you want lunch?" Souhyun retorted.
"Haven't even eaten breakfast yet, but food is always good. Okay, what do you need me to do?" she stood up, not bothering to make her bed, and went out of the small room. "Wait, don't you have classes?"
"My morning classes are already done, they started at seven. And I need you to check the table, there's this list I forgot to bring with me. Could you text me the items there?"
"Of course I will. I won't have lunch if I don't." she laughed, and Souhyun scoffed. "Okay, thanks. Bye!"
She hung up and Sohee went to the small kitchen to find the list her roommate was talking about. Rolling up her sleeve, she caught sight of the three words on her wrist: I'm your hope!
She shook her head and stood up to open the fridge, and there were some bottles of water, milk, and a covered bowl of noodles.
A sticky note was on top of the cover. 'Heat it up when you're hungry! :) -SH'
She laughed and picked it up, walking over to the microwave.
