| Taehyung's point of view

The latter woke up extra early today to avoid any encounter with his mom's lover and goes to work earlier than his usual work shift. He wanted to ignore the guy for now, even if the said guy initiated to get close to him earlier at the kitchen as they crossed paths. The younger simply glared at him and that effectively shuts him up. Currently on break, Taehyung told his co-worker named Hoseok everything that happened last night.

" You met your supposed to be new dad last night? Is he handsome?". Hoseok nudged Taehyung on his sides, wiggling his eyebrows.

The younger groaned at that." What the fuck hyung , you should be mad or something that I told you. I really don't feel so good about him, I hate him already."

" I don't have the rights to be mad at your step daddy I'm not the son, pfft. Honestly, Taehyung just accept him. Nothing will go wrong I promise this to you."

Hoseok tried to convince Taehyung but the younger shakes his head as a response. Stubbornly disagreeing to his Hyung's idea.

" Whatever , still hate him." Hoseok groaned at that.

" fine do your thing, whatever floats your boat." He told the latter as he proceeds to his work station, leaving the stubborn younger male at the cash register where he's in charge for today's work. Taehyung simply rolled his eyes when Hoseok ignored him throughout their break.

While waiting for the other customers to come, he decided to observe the surroundings for a while. Jinyoung , his other co-worker , was cleaning the tables. Hoseok was in charge in the kitchen work. Basically, everyone was busy doing their own tasks. Taehyung so deep in his thoughts that he didn't notice the man he's avoiding earlier this morning was now in front of him.

" Taehyung?". A voice startled him out of his thoughts. He sighs as soon as he realize who's in front of him. 'How unlucky.' The younger muttered.

Jungkook .

" You work here?". Jungkook ask rather amused to see Taehyung working at a cafe, eyes softening at the sight of him on his work attire.

And yet Taehyung was oblivious at the reaction the older male had since he was busy avoiding any eye contact with the man in front.

"Yes , I work here dumbass. What's your order?". Taehyung ask, eyes finally trained on the male in front of him who looks a little bit hesitant.

" Can we talk for a second?". He smiled sheepishly.

What does he want to me now , can't you see clearly that I'm avoiding the chance to have an encounter with you yet here you are , bugging me at work. The younger thought, staring at Jungkook for a while then shakes his head as a no.

" No I can't , please leave if you're not going to order anything." Taehyung said to him as he turned his back on him, proceeding to go to the kitchen area to avoid the older male but it was in futile.

Jungkook suddenly reaches out to grab the younger male's arm which he successfully did causing Taehyung to stop from his tracks.

" Please Taehyung, it'll be quick." The older male pleaded.

" Still no Jungkook , get your hand off from me." Taehyung answered coldly, yanking his hand back.
