Jungkook knew that all of what was happening is because of his own stupidity and dishonesty . He dragged both of them on his own mess.

They didn't deserve to be lied on—his dishonesty to Taehyung. Being lead on—his relationship with Ji Eun.

He tries to ponder deeper what went wrong one time, alone in his own apartment. Deep in thoughts , he realizes it maybe,

Maybe it's because of the past relationships that he had that made him like this?

No. He tries to deny it but somehow, it's part of the reasons why he's lost at his own feelings. He'd rather shove those honest feelings than solve the matter. He was scared to deal with it and be responsible, fearing the consequences if he chooses to be honest with it.

Then Yes? It was rather complicated to answer.

It was hard for him to find true love after all. All of his past relationships were a mess. It made him afraid to love and be loved. It was unrequited, he was taken for granted;He was used.

He didn't know why he had experience those things back then, wasn't he good enough? What does he lack at? Does being with him suffocates his partners? Was he overbearing?

He cannot understand, even if he asked the reasons why. Maybe it is fated for him to live like this.

As he thought of the reason why deeper, Perhaps it must be the way he grown up.

The family he had grown up with didn't even gave him the love that he wants and deserve. He was neglected.
He wasn't even the favorite amongst the siblings, he's being outcasted by his own parents.

As a kid, he wants to get the attention and love of his parents. For that, he works hard to achieve everything—he joined different sports at a young age, he's also academically smart. He was on top of everything he does, he became an overachiever.

But in the end, It was all in futile even if he gave all his best in academics, sports and all. None of that , made the parents spare a glance nor acknowledge him. They even called him an 'attention seeker' or 'desperate.

He was pained of course, even if his younger brother comforted him that didn't soothe the pain he was feeling that time. It started to occur to him that maybe he was a mistake, that he shouldn't be born at all. A teenage mistake.

At highschool, he didn't try to impress his parents anymore. He decided to not care at all. He rebelled. A once over-achiever star student became a burnout unmotivated student. Jungkook almost flunk highschool for being careless and immoral but it stopped when he met his first love.

It was on junior year when his teacher finally had enough of him getting bad grades, disrespecting teachers and always skipping classes. His teacher already have known the relationship of Jungkook with his parents were bad that they didn't need to consult them anymore for tutoring.

Jungkook's first love was his tutor, Minjae.

Minjae was so kind to him. She understands whatever outburst Jungkook had at the first week of their tutoring sessions, she would listened to the brunette haired male ranting about how much he despise being tutored. Despite the rants and the tantrums Jungkook did for her just to stop the sessions, it didn't bugged her a bit. It made her understood why the latter became a person as he was now.
She's determine to change Jungkook to a better student.
