chapter ten

His lips were about to lock with mine, then I realized myself. He doesn't know the real me and if he knows, he would also hate me like the others.

I had a quick thought and then pulled back.

"What is the matter" he asked.

"You don't really know me, and if you do, you will hate me. Am so sorry but I have to go"

"Sorry about what? Just forget what was about to happen and let's act normal"

"No need for that, I really have to go" I walked out.

"Please, just stay for just a little while. I wont try to kiss you again. For now" he said while grabbing my left hand.

"but why did you act like that all of a sudden? Or have you not kissed anyone before?"

"no!"

"that sounds impossible, but why"

"I already told you that I am hideous and every one hates me"

"beauty stays deep in the heart. I may be a bad boy as people say but I still have some good things to say to you"

"you won't understand, I have to go" I said as I ran off as Jessy called me.

Jessy was really shocked when she saw me and Kelvin talking. She kept on staring at me as we went home.

"Jessy, why have you been staring at me?"

"Am just shocked. How did both of you become close all of a sudden?"

"I don't really know, but I guess that I have to stay away from him.

"You just got lucky and you are trying to loose an opportunity? Don't even think about it"

I got home quite late and every one apart from Nanny beg where asleep.

She opened the door for me and then watched me as I slept off but I couldn't sleep for long. It's already time for me to prepare for school. I had my bath, brushed my teeth and had breakfast fast. When I was done I quickly grabbed my bag and head for school.

When I got to the school, every one was talking about the mysterious girl at the party but it's too bad that no one recognize me at this moment. I sat at the back as usual and tried to be attentive but Kelvin always came to my mind. His pink lips, grey eyes, brown hair and his built body couldn't let me concentrate. I wanted him so badly but am the ugly nerd.

When they rang the bell for break, Kelvin came in with his gang which made all the girls loose concentration. I just stood by the side watching all these things happen. When kelvin passed me, I knew that he wouldn't bother talking to me so I just maintained my self.

Well, like I said, he didn't talk to me but he left a note in my hand 'saying meet me at the music room immediately the last bell goes'.

After reading this, I felt like my world had already exploded. I waited patiently till the last bell went. It's so painful that Jessy didn't come to school today to give me courage. I had to do this by my self with all confidence.

As I heard the bell, I walked straight to the music room hoping to see Kelvin.

I saw him in his crazy bad boy smile as he waiting for me while resting against the wall.

When I finally met up with him he smiled and showed me his set of teeth. Maybe he was about to propose and I think he knows that it was me he met up with at the party.

"I really need you, and I can't do this without you" he said.

"why are you saying all this" my cheeks where slowly turning red.

"please...."

My eyes keep getting wider at every word he says.

"please, help me do my math assignment. I heard that you are good at math"

"what? Is that why you brought me over here?"

"huh"

"do it by your self, son of a bitch. I really hate you, you just keep on toiling with people's feelings" I said angrily as I walked out on him, leaving him in a confused state.

I really do hate him. I thought he wanted to ask me out or something. Ugh....  But am falling for him.
