The Perfect Night

Kylie's Pov

I woke up and the sun was shinning bright. I rolled to my left when I bumped into someone. I opened my eyes and saw Kieran smiling down at me. "Good morning Kylie." Kieran's voice soft and quiet. "Good morning Kieran." I moved my head closer to Kieran's face. "Kylie?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm glad you stayed here last night."

I looked back up at Kieran and smiled. "Me too." Kieran wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer to him. Kieran moved his right hand to my cheek. Kieran started leaning in closer to my lips and kissed me. I kissed Kieran back. As soon as Kieran pulled away his dad walked in. "Good morning kids. I'm off too work, but if you guys are going to be here alone no funny business."

"Dad really? Again?" Kieran shook his head and turned on his other side. "Bye Kylie, bye Kieran."

Kieran waved goodbye, but didn't say anything back to his dad. "Kieran?" Kieran was still laying on his right side. I moved right behind Kieran and wrapped my arms around Kieran. "Come on please turn around?" Kieran turned his head around and smiled at me. I moved back to my side of the bed and Kieran turned around. Kieran moved his pillow so it was right next too mine. Kieran layed on the very edge of his pillow and stared at me. Kieran put his hand in my hair and started playing with a strand. My phone was still in my bag when i heard it starting to ring. I didn't want to get out of Kieran's bed to answer it. I stayed where I was and let it ring a few more times. "Aren't you going to answer that babe?"

"No Kieran because I know it's Jake or my parents and i don't want to talk to them right now."

"Are you sure? What if something happened?" I looked at Kieran with a confused look on my face. Kieran looked at me then he said, "I'm just saying Kylie, it's the third time your phone has rang."

"That's a good point Kieran." I uncovered myself from Kieran's blanket and got out of bed to go to my phone. I took my phone out of my bag and I had 3 missed calls from Jake, 4 missed texts from mom. I unlocked my phone and called my mom. 

"Kylie? Honey where are you?"

"Mom I'm with Kieran"

"At 7:30 am? Kylie you never came home last night." I was a bit confused because Kieran's dad said that he would call my mom and let her know that I was staying with Kieran.

"Mom didn't the Sheriff call you last night?"

"No why? was he supposed to?"

"Yes mom he said that he would call you at tell you what happened."

"Well I never got a call Kylie. I want you home now."

"Mom I'm fine, really." 

"Kylie I want you home right now so we can talk. I'm sending Jake to pick you up." My heart started beating a little faster after my mom said that. What did she mean by 'So we can talk?'  

"Why mom?"

"Because Kylie, we need to talk about Kieran." Talk about Kieran? What the hell does that mean?

 I hung up the phone and walked back to Kieran's bed. "What did your mom say?"

"That I need to go home now. I guess your dad never called my mom to tell her what happened."

"Seriously? I'm sure my dad just forgot to call your mom."

"Yeah I know Kieran, but Jake's on his way here."

"Oh okay, you should probably change out of my shirt." I forgot that I was wearing Kieran's shirt. I grabbed my clothes from yesterday and took them in the bathroom with me.
