Ashton's POV

"Beta, patrols found rogue scents on the west boundary. They started to circle the location but only this was found." Nico, the third in command said while waving a green bloody handkerchief in front of him. By the smell of it, it was a rogue's blood.

"So rogues killing co-rogues this time?" Alpha Jaden stated thoughtfully. He is the titled Alpha of Blazing Red Moon Pack. He is my best friend and the only one who knows what I really am and capable of. So he always listens to me and follow as I command. Blazing Red Moon Pack is known for having the largest pack members, strongest fighters and wealth good for eternity. No other packs are stupid enough to challenge us, but there comes the rogues who think with their butts, dreaming that one day they will be able to take us down. There's a large group of rogues led by Hunter and I know this plot comes from him, again.

"More like a warning or a message." I said looking at the forest outside. The view from this window of green forest and the lake always calms me. "Green is the color of Hunter's group, maybe he's sending us a message."

"Like what?" asked Jaden.

"It is a rogue's blood, so it could mean that they are willing to sacrifice their own blood if it is what it would take for them to take us." I stated simply.

"Ha! Haven't they learned their lessons? It's been three long years of fighting and they always retreated bleeding and almost dying!" Nico shouted amused by those rogues' hard headedness.

"But what confused me is how they always come back with more rogues in tow. It's like they never run out of wolf fighters." Said Jaden.

"Hunter wants blood, and he wanted our Beta's. So he is set to do everything it takes to kill Ashton." said Nico while dumping the bloody handkerchief at the trash bin.

"Don't put it in there! That's gross!" it was Sam's voice, Nico's mate.

"And why my lady are you here?" asked Nico retrieving the handkerchief from the bin, following his mate's outburst of command. Wolves and their mates. I wish I never find one.

"I was just about to call you all for dinner." She said truthfully.

"Well, what fueled him is the revenge for his father's death caused by our Beta." Jaden said continuing the conversation. I just shook my head, his father was a poor excuse of a psychopath Alpha. He never gets a mate so he can have any girl from his pack. Once done with his game he will simply cut the shewolf's throat and leave to death. I was sixteen when I found him doing his thing to a teenage shewolf and I killed him. It took a year for Hunter to know that I was the one who killed his father and that's when he started to be a rogue and form a group of rebels willing to fight till death in reward of ruling the Blazing Red Moon Pack. Their old pack, the Green River Pack was dismantled. Some ran here and to other packs and some joined Hunter and became rogues. Sadly for Hunter, his sister Samantha chose to be a pack member of Blazing Red Moon and became Nico's mate.

"They could always try, but they could never win." Was my last retort heading to the door wanting to end the conversation in front of Sam, it's still her family after all.

Amber's POV

"Singing radiohead at the top of our lungs, with the boom box blaring as we're falling in love, got a bottle of whatever but it's getting us drunk, singing, here's to never growing up!"

"C'mon girls my ears are bleeding!" shouted Blake annoyed but by the small smile on his lips I know he is amused. That's how me and Moniq enjoys our prep before going to party. We will turn the speaker on and sing with whatever is on the playlist while putting on our make-ups, fitting our outfits and making our hair. While Blakey here lay on my bed watching the constellation glow in the dark stickers on my ceiling and complaining of how much time we took just for a party. We're girls, duh! Boys just put on a jeans and a shirt and voila! They're done!
