It was a normal Friday at Riverside High School. . . homework, kids skipping class, but little did they know something was about to happen to a selected amount of people
Ava's POV
As I walked into the cold room I saw a letter under the door I picked it up and it read out loud

Dear Miss Ava Davenport,
We,the Sterling scientist are pleased to inform you that you are one of the few people to be selected for the Close Distance Experiment(CDE).

This experiment will test if putting two people together will cause them to fall in love.

All subjects are 15.

On Saturday morning you and the other subjects will be picked-up and brought to our lab were you guys will be paired up.

Just then I got a text from Roxy

R:hey did u get a strange letter from the Sterling Scientist

A: Yeah

R:Did it say something about a CDE

A:Yup

R:Who do you think your gonna get paired with?

A: A weirdo most likely

R:Cool see you tomorrow bye

A:bye

Well at least I know she's suffering as much as me

Well today is the day the day I spend 7 months with a weirdo the day I won't get to sleep in my own,bed sounds great.

When I got in the car i immediately saw Roxy and sat next to her

"What's up." I cooley said

"Nothing except the fact that we are going to be spending a whole month with a random person from school."

"Okay well I'ma go to sleep now." I said tiredly.

After a few minutes I felt something shaking me, so I did what a normal person would do ........... I punched them in the face.

"Oww!" A female voice shouted
So I woke up and saw Roxy holding her nose.

"Sorry I thought you were some weirdo." I replied

"So we will be putting you boy and girl except one group will be made of 3 boys and one girl I will announce the groups now." The scientist voice rang in the white room.
(Just picked random names and paired them.)

"Samantha and Christian
Hunter and Veronica
Mike and Ruby
Alex and Roxy
Addison and Tyler
And finally Ava and Chase, you may now all go home. Tomorrow we will escort you to your homes that you'll be staying in for 7 months."

''Well let's see what happens tomorrow" muttered under my breath and rolled my eyes,
