"Yes! That's it Mija!" My mom says excitedly.
Just then it gets fuzzy and blurry but I could still here the faint sound of my mother saying.
"Everything is fine, Mija. Don't panic your waking up...talk to us soon..." Her voice fades out as my eyes snap open to see us in the car on the side of a big tree where I hid the car to sleep.
I look in the rear view mirror to see all the girls also awake looking at me with a knowing look, it was a mixture of excitement and a bit of fear...
It's all real...
We all look at each other as if we know what just happened and we do...

A couple days later
They have been driving for hours until they got to the next town which is this one. Everything is pretty run-dow, anyone can easily tell the town stayed neglected for a while.
They were now running low on fuels so they need to find some soon, for now they were on foot. Everyone was currently on guard, watching their surroundings carefully as they waited for the others to return.
"Wow look at how abandoned this town is..." Kale says, wiping the sweat from his forehead as he looks around.
"Yeah man, it's a fucking apocalypse ." Caleb mumbles huffing shortly after.
Kale pauses, looking over at his brother with a look that screamed 'wtf is wrong with you dude'
Caleb ignores him, clutching the hand gun in his hand. He found it under the counter of some drug store they checked out a couple miles back. Of course he knew not to use it unless it was absolutely necessary.
"Boys.." Normani sighs, shaking her head as they bicker back and forth, the other girls just shrugging.
"They can't help themselves" Kelani says walking up to the other girls, along with Dinah and Lauren.
Everyone looks over at them and sighs in relief.
"It's about time you showed up, I was beginning to think something bad happened" Ally says, hugging all the girls as if they've been gone for years, Camila rolls her eyes.
"That's true, I tried a million times to tell her you guys would return and be okay and unharmed but you know how Ally is" Camila chuckles, amused.
Lauren smiles, looking at Camila's side profile since her attention was currently on Dinah as they chatted on about everything and nothing at the same time.
