lay awake in the depth of your despair
a damsel in distress and nothing more.
you gasp for air but there is nothing there
you scream and plea until you throat is sore
no one heard a word
no one cares about you
you are nothing
lay in the dark until your bones potrude, your hair falls like leaves in clumps and your skin is pale porcelain.
until your name is forgotten and no one remembers the bright, happy, outgoing shell of your facade
the days of hiding behind a mask are done.
now you are a broken doll
the poster child for all things bad.
the things parents have nightmares over.
you are nothing. you've never been anything.
nothing.
waste of space.
useless.
worthless.
expensive
spoiled.
unwanted.
NOTHING.
