so once I got my character done, I did the tutorial. you start out by a tower with the headmaster to your front left, and his pet owl to your front right. he starts out saying stuff, and in the middle of his sentence, you hear a loud crack of lightning. he then tells you to run inside the tower. once inside, the evil overlord is there with his minions by his side. the headmaster tells you to run up to the minions...
