The Other Half of Me

JESSICA POV

"Beep! Beep! Beep!"

I open my eyes. It's blurry. I try to sit up but I can't. Where am I? I'm looking around the room and I notice different things. Like I'm laying in a bed. I have wires connected to my arms. oh! im in the E.R! What the heck!?! Why? When? Where? How?

The funny thing is I feel ok. I can sit up now. I take the wires off. It hurt a little. I stand up. Wow! I'm a little wobbly. I'm walk towards the door.

(Flash back)

Everything goes black. The wave in crushing. I can't breathe. No one bows I'm down here.

"Jessica! Jessica!?" I hear a faint yell. I'm too out of it to try to fight the wave. It wins.

What's that in the background. I think it's sirens, but I don't care. My lungs hurt a lot! That's when I lurch forward and I see a face.

"Cam?"
