The Other Half of Me

MACY POV

I am just sitting here crying my heart out. I'm laying in Jessica's bed. It felt right. Jessica went surfing and wiped out. The doctor said while she was under she probably passed out because of the lack of oxygen. No dur. The doctors said that she should stay the night till she's stable. It was my fault. I was just standing there shocked when she went under. Paige went with Hayes to call 911. Cam went to try to find a life guard with no luck. It was my fault that I did not swim out there myself.

My sobbing must have been bothering because there was a knock at Jessica's door.

"Yes?" I say in between sobs.

It was Hayes. My gosh I just had a heart attack. I quickly wipe my eyes and sit up.

"I just came to tell you that Jessica is awake and that the doctors want us there." He said taking a set on her bed.

I am like about to explode! Jessica's awake, and Hayes in siting not 1 foot away from me!

"Omg!! Really?!?" I ask springing up

"Yep! Nash is going to drive us there!" He says standing up with me

I'm just so excited that I did not notice that I was hugging him! And the awkward part was that he hugged me back too!

"Oh um sorry." I say looking down, blushing.

He was blushing too.

"We should like, um, go?" He said more like a question.

"Ya." I say opening the door.
