Zayn: Hey, sweetheart?
Amanda: Yeah, Zayn?
Zayn: Erm, I was wondering if you would go out on a date with me? I don't like seeing you looking upset. You broke up with Xylem because you didn't love him, it's not a crime to break up with someone. Xylem was your past, and I'm your future.
Amanda reads Zayn's chat. How could he say that? groaned Amanda.
Unknowingly, an angel and a devil came out.
Hey sweetheart Amanda, he has a point you know, whispers the Angel.
Amanda thinks really really hard, but a low voice interrupts her train of thoughts.
Don't you think this Zayn guy is a little selfish? Xylem was your past, but he was someone that should be remembered right? Even a little recognition of your life! says the Devil.
Amanda came to a conclusion. She decided to believe the Angel.
Amanda: You're right, Zayn. Let's go out. Maybe for lunch?
Zayn. Was. Delighted. It was his FIRST EVER date with a girl he had a CRUSH FOR MONTHS NOW.
Zayn: Yeah, I'll go pick you up at around 11 am. You'd be ready by then, right? <3
Amanda: Yeah sure. Cya! <3

Amanda put on some simple make-up, not too heavy. Simple, yet dazzling.
She looked at her dress, and was disgusted. Opening the cupboard, she brushed her hand through the clothes she had. Some shirts, jeans, and only the one and only dress she was wearing.
The doorbell rang.
Amanda rushed to the door.
It was Zayn.

Zayn had looked really disturbed after receiving the text from somebody. Amanda winced. Maybe Zayn had another girlfriend. She quickly shook the thought away and got back to eating dinner with Zayn. A candle flickered between both of them 'romantically' as she chewed on the really tough steak. The so-called A* restaurant steak tasted like cow dung.
"Zayn," she said gently. Zayn snapped up from his phone. "Yeah?"
"Um, no phones allowed?" Amanda pointed at the sign hanging below the huge signboard that read:
A* Steak Restaurant. No Phones allowed.
"Sorry," apologized Zayn. "I should be more... focused. It is our first date, after all."
Zayn did not want to reply to Xylina, but she had intimidated him by saying that she would reveal their relationship to everybody.
Zayn texted her, saying that he was done with her and he was with Amanda already. Xylina then started to text unintelligible curse and swear words. She even said that she was going to jump down a building.
At the last text about committing suicide, Zayn was startled. He knew Xylina was a drama queen and would do anything silly impulsively.
He rushed to the address she sent him, telling Amanda that it was a business meeting. He felt guilty that his first date ended so abruptly, but Amanda seemed glad to leave the "A* Steak Restaurant" which was more like "A* Shit restaurant"
