*Elsa's POV*

I walked to Jack's house from the park. It really wasn't that far, but I was pretty tired by the time I got there. I rang the doorbell and barely had to wait five seconds before Punzie answered it. "Hey Elsa!" She said cheerfully. "Jack said you were meeting him to do homework, is that what you're here for?" She asked. "Yeah." I answered, making her shoulders droop the slightest bit in disappointment. "Okay, he's in his room!" She said before leading me to his room and walking to her own. I took a deep breath and slowly raised my shaky hand to knock on the door. I used a little secret knock that me and Anna used to use for our games and stuff. I did it so often that sometimes I just automatically do it. "Come in!" I heard Jack call from the other side. "I slowly pushed open the door to find him playing on his Xbox. "Hey Jack!" I said with a smile. He looked over and paused the game before setting down his controller. "Hey Elsa!" He said while standing up from his spot on a beanbag chair and moving to his bed. "Do you have your homework ready?" I asked with a hint of nervousness in my voice. Somehow, I have developed more of a crush on Jack since the last time I saw him! "Yeah. Do you have yours?" He said, rearranging the homework papers that were sitting on his bed. "Uh huh." I answered. I helped him for about thirty minutes before I got a text from My Dad saying he wanted me home in five minutes. "I gotta go, bye Jack." I said while putting my stuff in my backpack. "That's cool, bye Elsa." He said. I started to walk to his bedroom door when suddenly I felt his hand grab my wrist. "Wait, before you go..." He said. I turned my head to see him staring at me. He slowly leaned toward me and a wave of panic rushed over me. Was he going in for a kiss!? No, he has a girlfriend! Right? Suddenly, our lips met. It was a short kiss, but a good one. Once we separated, I ran out of his room and out to the sidewalk and flagged down the first taxi I saw. Holy frijoles.

*Jack's POV*

I stared at the door after Elsa left. I flopped down on my bed and punched the sky. "Yes! I finally kissed her!" I said to myself. It was a good kiss, but I've had better. My Mom texted me saying she was on her way home from work. She works from around 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. She has a job as a receptionist at the local vets office. Rapunzel was in her room watching youtube on her phone. Mom had scheduled a time for us all to go to Miss Hatties Home For Girls in about half an hour, and I had nothing better to do, so I started getting ready. I still had on my clothes from school, but my hoodie was still kinda wet so I changed into a white shirt with a holographic snowflake pattern on it. I looked in the mirror. I never really bother to comb my hair unless it's a special occasion or I'm forced to, but this is a pretty special occasion. I ran a comb through it a couple of times before giving up. It's just not the kind of hair that goes down easily. I re-tied my shoelaces and smoothed out my shorts. I walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth because I had forgotten to do it this morning. I heard Rapunzel's door opening. "Hey Jack!" She said while running downstairs. "Mmm mmm." I said through the toothpaste. When I was done I went downstairs to see Punzie eating chips and salsa while grabbing some art supplies. "Painting something?" I said. "Uh huh." She replied after swallowing. "It's gonna be for our new brother-or-sister." She said while walking upstairs trying to balance her art stuff In one hand and her food in the other. I chuckled. "Here, let me get that!" I said, grabbing her food and eating a chip. "Hey!" She said. Me and Punzie's rooms are upstairs along with a bathroom and a guest room. We had agreed that our new sibling would get the guest room. Mom's room is downstairs, in case you were wondering. Punzie opened the door to the now empty room and set her stuff on the floor, stealing her chips and salsa back from me. She put her hair up and started to paint a picture of...something. I wasn't sure what it was yet, but I decided to check on it when she was done. I walked out of the room and down to the kitchen to see Mom coming through the front door. "Hey Jack!" She said. "Are you and Punzie ready to go?" "Yeah. Punzie's painting something, but she can probably finish it later." I replied while helping her with her purse. "Okay, I just have to go change real quick then we'll be ready to roll!" Mom said and went to change out of her medical scrubs. She doesn't actually come in contact with many animals, but she's supposed to wear scrubs. She should be done in about five minutes, she picked out her outfit this morning. A white shirt with gray jeans and some gray flats. I think it's boring, but she says it 'Projects an aura of elegance!' Whatever you say, Mom. Rapunzel ran down the stairs. "Is Mom home!?" She almost yells. "Yeah." I say. She squeals. "Mom! Hurry up and get dressed! We have to goooooo!" She yells at Moms door. "Rapunzel, the more you rush me, the longer it will take!" Mom says through the door. I chuckle. This is gonna be one exciting day.
