It's been a little bit since I last seen Zion before first period, It's currently third period, transitioning into fourth period.

My lunch is fourth period, and so is Zion's and the rest of them. So if I'd see him any other time today, it definitely be right about now.

I made my way to my locker to drop off my books, and when I shut my locker I was left face to face with a smiling Zion.

I thought to myself, 'why are you always smiling?'

"Because I'm always happy, especially when I'm around you" he says, answering a question I thought I asked in my head, as his smiles transitions to more of a smirk.

Shit.

You ever feel like a situation is awkward, but like an okay kind of awkward? Well, that would explain this moment. So hopefully you do know.

"Can I walk you to lunch ?" he asks, breaking the silence, thankfully.

"I guess so", I respond whilst shrugging my shoulders.

We walk side by side, not even glancing at each other until he places his arms around my waist pulling myself closer to him.

"Aww, you guys are so cute." Edwin says while smiling uncontrollably, as he races up to us while walking along side of us, and I just laugh lightly.

Edwin breaks the silence by engaging in friendly conversation, "So are you guys going to Aliyah's party this weekend?"

"Another one?" I ask, furrowing my eyebrows.

And my question goes unanswered as Zion's next comment leaves both me and Edwin with more questions.

"Nah I'm good, I got a date this weekend, so you won't catch me there."

Edwin and I shared a look before returning the same glare to Zion.

"A date?" We both asked, and Zion just proudly nods.

"With who ?" Edwin asked.

"With Y/N", Zion announces before busting out into a fit of laughter.

I was completely lost with this whole conversation so all I did was raise an eyebrow.

"So how come she didn't know?" Edwin questioned.

"Yeah. How come I didn't know?" I chimed in.

"Because you didn't ask" he shrugged.

This make both Edwin and I scoff.

The three of us are enterned the cafeteria greeted the rest of the boys and Aliyah at table which they all sat.

I rode my eyebrow at Aliyah seeing as we didn't usually sit there.

Aliyah races up to me and begins to pull me away from the group and by the look in her eyes I can see that she is desperate to tell me something but before she can Zion pulls me back to remind me of the date that he established, all on his own, that we would be having this weekend.

Zion says what he has to say, & Aliyah pulls me aside to our usual table, where currently no one is sitting and finally says what I expected:

"Y/N I really have to tell you something."

"What is it?" I ask giggling.

"It's Zion" she replies.

"What about him?" I ask, my tone a bit more serious than it was in previous moments.

"It's all a bet, don't mess with him" she says, all in one breath, her tone laced heavily with concern.

"I- I don't understand" is all I can say, as I really did not understand but what my mind was inferring was something I didn't want to believe, and I sure hope she wasn't talking about whatever it is that Zion and I have going on because if that was what it is I wouldn't even know how to feel.

"A bet, Y/N, he bet the boys that he could get into your pants" she says in a now- more harsh tone

"I- I don't believe you" I laughed, although it may just be the denial speaking.

"Then don't, but I overheard Nick and Austin talking about it, but I think it's only between the three of them. Anyways, they told me how Zion bet his car that'd he get into your pants by the end of this month, please don't hate me, I'm just letting you know as your best friend I don't want to see you hurt."

"Wow, uhm thanks Aliyah" I say as I get up and make my way out of the cafeteria, I needed to get out of there, eventually I make my way into the parking lot and to my car.

So it was all a bet then? Two can play that game. I thought to myself, and sitting on the hood of my car, I came up with a game plan to beat Zion Kuwonu at his own game.
