AT FURINKEN HIGHSCHOOL!

“Wow Natsumi, where’d you get this stuff?” One girl in her class asked.

“Yeah! I especially like the lamb filled roll! It has onions and cilantro and so many good flavors!” Another girl agreed.

“It’s not too shabby.” Nabiki admitted.

“Well, you guys remember Ritoru right? She just opened up a bakery today! That’s where I got everything! AND her prices are unbeatable,” She somewhat yelled with excitement.

“I spent a little less than 3000 yen on everything. That’s a good deal if you ask me.”

“Wow! What other things does she sell there?”

“Cakes, crapes, teas, drinks… Anything you could think of is all in her display case. And she even takes suggestions!” Natsumi was as lively as ever.

“We should go check it out.”

“Yeah. A treat after class sounds great!” They all made plans for after class while Nabiki left the room unnoticed.

“Akane.” Nabiki said from the door. Her younger sister immediately got up and made her way over to the doorway where she stood.

“What’s up?”

“Ritoru apparently opened up her shop about half an hour ago. One of my classmates bought lunch and was bragging up a storm. So I think it’s safe to say that we can advertise for her. Invite a couple of your friends after school or something.” Akane nodded.

“That’s a great idea! I can’t wait to see how she’s doing!”

BACK AT THE BAKERY!!!

“Wow. We’ve had more business in the last hour than normal new places have in their first three days!” I smiled, counting the money we had gotten so far.

“Hmmm… What should we do with all of this?” I turned to P-Chan after putting the money all back into the register.

“Maybe I should put it all into savings for now? I’ll figure it all out later.” The place was already payed off… And if I kept up this pace then I’d make my money’s worth in about a couple months from now.

Once it hit about 1:30 everything was slow. Varied lunch times were over, making me no longer busy.

I sat there lazily at the front, my elbow resting on the table and my chin sitting in my hands.

“This is… Kind of boaring…” I saw that P-Chan held the same expression.

About two hours later, I heard the front door open, signaled by the little bell at the top. I looked up and was pretty shocked by what I saw.

Nabiki and Akane… Were leading an army into the place!  My whole class was there! (Akane’s class) “Told you I’d bring customers!” I was slightly speechless.

After a good hour of hustling and helping every single person as quickly as I could, there were only a couple left. Nabiki, Ranma, and Akane, all had about three friends with them.

“I’ll have the shrimp poppers.” Ranma’s taller friend ordered.

“And I’ll have the Takoyaki and some sweet dumplings.” I handed him his dumplings

“The Takoyaki and shrimp poppers will be a while. So feel free to have a seat and wait.” They both nodded, walking off and sharing the dumplings. Ranma ordered some pork buns and dumplings.

“You’re in luck Ran-san. I just got done with a fresh batch not even five minutes ago.” I wrapped up the four pork buns and put them into a baggie. I handed him his three shish co bob dumplings then rung him up.
