~Alice's POV

I excused myself from the table and approached the counter and said "Alice that's me." A guy who looked like he surfed a lot handed me my coffee. I turned around much too fast to avoid his gaze and slipped on some spilt lemonade I lost my footing and was all prepared to fall and experience severe pain but instead I felt the warm embrace of someone's presence. I looked up to see a guy with big blue/grey eyes and a fedora staring at me. He helped me up and asked if I was okay. The tone in his voice was concerned but his body language said no more than 'ugh people'.
"Yes. I'm fine. Thanks."
I said in a shaky voice.
"Holy smokes what the hell happened." It was Rani. I explained. "Oh. Excuse my profanity" she stammered. "It's totally okay. Hah." The guy replied. His laugh I swear could cure cancer. "What's your name?" I asked. "Patrick, Patrick Stump." He said proudly. "We'll I'm Alice, Alice Charlie" i shot back playfully mimicking him. "Rani." She didn't catch on. "Don't you have a band or something?" Rani stepped in. "Yeah. It's called Fall Out Boy. I'm getting coffee for the guys right now!" Patrick replied. He seemed as if we was trying to per say 'impress' me. Personally I wasn't all into bad members but, why not. "That's pretty cool." I tried to sound as amused as possible. I wondered if it showed.

~Patrick's POV

I could see I was boring her. Her eyes told all. Those big glossy hazel eyes. I was gazing and let the silence linger. "Would you like to sit down together..?" I stuttered out. "Why not!" Her voice was shaky as we grabbed the nearest table not loosing our gaze. We made small talk about our favorite things. We shared the same color, orange, and hobbies, video games and singing. And I could tell Rani was getting annoyed so I decided to wrap things up. "We'll I should get this coffee to the boys, call me okay?" I picked up her coffee cup and wrote my number on it. We bid our goodbyes and I headed out. I thought about her all through out band practice. I hope she calls. I sighed at the end of band practice and went home. I stayed by the phone all night.
