~ Upper Lünash'ar Island, 17 hours. ~
Luna stood before the throne - which was soon to become his - and reflected. She was not really sure that she would be ready to take over soon, only 14 years old!
She was drawn from her dreams by Karl, a friend of her mother, who put her hand on her shoulder, causing her to jump.
« Excuse me », he said, bowing.
« Oh ... it does not matter », said Luna, looking away from her embarrassment.
Karl hesitated for several seconds, making Luna's annoyance even more horrible, and then he decided to speak.
« Are you all right? », He asked.
« I'm ... embarrassed », Luna began, « and ... I'm not sure I'm up to it ».
Karl watched Luna carefully and saw his embarrassment, so he gave her the most encouraging smile.
Luna smiled back at him, although he was a little forced.
« You want me to leave?
- I would like...
- Okay. Take care of yourself
- Thank you Karl, you too. »
Karl took leave, leaving Luna alone with her thoughts. She approached a throne and put her hand on it. She had only one day to make a choice, but a crucial choice, not just for her.
If she accepted the rise to power, everything would change for her, for her people, for everything. Her mother had always told her to do only what she wanted but, how should she do if she did not even know what she wanted?
She decided to stop thinking about it and relax, she did not yet know how, but she was going to find something to do.
She went down from the Mountain and walked around the town watching the other children play while she was tormenting.
She finally approached the Winter-Wave Sea and sat on the floor and contemplated the waves, thinking what she should do.
It was the Winter on Lünash'ar Island so at 18 o'clock the night had already fallen. She contemplated the Moon rising higher in the sky ; she had always loved the Moon and her soft silvery reflections reflected in the sea, and she always helped to appease it when it was not going. She also loved the stars.
She reflected, thought and thought before choosing what she wanted ...
