    Iron ions

    NaOH/NH3:
    
                          
    Iron 2 ion- Fe²+ reacts with sodium hydroxide to produce a greenish precipitate.

    As you can see already, iron 2 is insoluble in excess NaOH. Btw, it gives the same reaction when our fairy godmother NH3 is added to them as well :)

    Technically when I first had the idea to doodle characters for my cations, I started with the Iron ions first, so it's no secret that Iron 2 and Iron 3 are my favourite ions :3 character design wise. I showed my classmate (an amazing doodler) my cations and she drew them in return!!

    Anyway to conclude- iron 2 and iron 3 ions both form precipitate in a few drops of NaOH/NH3 and is insoluble in excess :)
