Personality:
Katelyn, or for short "Kate" likes the name Kate more then Katelyn so she introduces herself mostly as Kate or her middle-name Natalie. Kate is an introvert person. No people for her. They make her feel uncomfortable. She likes being alone and she spends her night time sitting on the edge of a rooftop, but her grandma forbade it. Kate lives with her brother and grandma in a small -but cosy- house in a little village where nothing out of the ordinary happens. She has been living with them as long as she remembers.
Kate likes to watch the stars and fantasize of a life she never had. She likes her privacy. Kate can be quite vulgar... like really vulgar. Rude is also a very good word to describe her.
Kate moved from another town, other people think because school or things with her grandma. But it's none of that. After years, she learned the hard way, that you can't trust anyone except yourself, so she always puts her safety and needs above anyone else's. She trust her grandma, but it's complicated. Because of the moving and her rude personality, she hasn't any really good friends. Sure, some people she is closer to then others but no real friends, they don't know about her abilities. But she doesn't mind, she has other things to focus on, and friends only distract you from your purpose.
Kate expresses her emotions as little as possible, she believes emotions are expressions of weakness. She gets more mad in her thoughts, in silent. She hasn't cried in three years or really become angry. But sometimes, she just can't let it go and she has to say something. For example: when some of those fucking demons decided to annoy her again.

Abilities:
-Photokinesis
Kate has the power of photokinesis, which manifests as a glowing blue-and-white light that emits from her hands. This light is harnessed through nature and by her own will, but it takes practice. She basically can create, shape and manipulate visible light from her mind her hands. She can generate, bend, shift, focus, scatter and/or generally manipulate light to various degrees and effects.
She can produce blasts of light or in some cases a Super-Nova of light. That means that she combines the light energy into a ball-shape. When she fired it and it explodes, the energy is so powerful that it can kill everyone in range. Sometimes, Kate can produce a light explosion from her hand that last longer than a few seconds. But when unconscious, she can't use any of her powers (because the connection mind-hand is broken).
To the greater extent, Photokinetic people could make themselves invisible by bending the light off them. Photokinesis can also be used to generate illusions. Sadly, she hasn't controlled either off that yet.
-Telekinesis
When Kate is in extreme danger, she displays minor feats of telekinesis. It's very difficult and demands a lot of concentration and practice. But she just hasn't the patience for it.
Telepathy
Kate is a telepath. That means that she can "hear" what people think, she doesn't really uses her ears for it. It's more like a personal vibration of people, that she as only one can sense too. The mind reading really annoys her, it makes it very hard for her to form a relationship with someone. She can hear peoples deepest, darkest secrets, without even wanting to. It's sometimes to gross to hear and it can be very awkward. But sometimes, when she needs to find something out, it can come in quite handy, although she comes over as day dreaming while listening to other peoples thoughts.
If she concentrates really hard, it's possible for Kate to form a wall around her mind, locking other persons thoughts out. It costs her a lot of focus and energy, keeping the wall up. So when she's either emotional, drunk or both, it might not work.
Oneirokinesis
I know, it's a very weird word but a cool power. Kate is able to enter peoples dreams and converse with that person, if she ever finds out she can. It's like dream-walking.
