18- Necklace

Cassie's POV

Wow! I can't believe I am Ethan's girlfriend! 

I'm currently waiting for Ethan to come home- he said he was going to the mall to collect something. 

To pass the time, I am scrolling though all of the positive comments on Ethan's Instagram post of both of us. He told his fans that we are together and everyone is going crazy!

I smile at all of the comments, then go to Twitter.

My notifications are blowing up!

Wow- I really loved my fans. I know how Ethan and Grayson feel now.

Being Ethan's girlfriend also made my followers go up to 1.5 Million. 

I go to my DM tab and start replying to some DMs. I feel a smile come across my face whilst doing so- it reminded me that me and Ethan only met because of a DM. 

*DING DONG*

I hear the doorbell, Grayson is sleeping, so I head towards the door. I look through the peephole and I was so happy to see Ethan standing there, clutching a white bag. 

I open the door and give him a quick kiss on the check. He smiles and tells me to wait where I am. 

He puts his phone and jacket in his room, and then comes back into the hallway.

"Close your eyes and open out your hands." He says, smirking, showing off his cheekbones and adorable dimples. 

"Why? " I question.

"I want to give you something. Don't you trust me?" He asks.

"No!" I joke, as he laughs. 

He stares at me with his ocean eyes, making me feel embarrassed. 

"Do it." he says, pretending to be serious, before bursting out into laughter once again. 

"Urgh fine- for you." I say, sighing.

I close my eyes and open out my hands. Ethan places what feels like a box in them. 

"Okay, open your eyes" he says, before giving me a quick kiss on the cheek. 

I open my eyes, and as expected, I see a box. 

"What is it?" I ask, curious as to what was inside.

"Open it and find out, babe" He says, smirking once again. 

I carefully open the box and see a beautiful silver necklace inside. On it, are our initials engraved. E.G.D and C.W. I open my mouth in awe at its beauty.

I look up at Ethan, who seemed to have been watching my reaction very closely. 

"Do you like it?" he asks me.

"Ethan, I love it. It is absolutely perfect-" I begin.

"LIKE YOU." we both shout, at the same time. We both laugh, and then we kiss again. 

"Should I put it on for you?" He asks.

"Yeah, that would be great actually!" I say, as he moves my hair out of the way, and attaches the silver clasp. 

I look at the necklace on my chest and smile. It's so nice knowing Ethan will always be with me. 

Me and Ethan kiss again, but then we hear his phone going off, multiple times.

We break out of the kiss.

"Babe, can you go see who that is? Imma go say hi to Gray," Ethan says, whilst walking away.

I nod, then walk over to where all of the text message notifications were coming from. 

I pick up the phone, and read the messages on the lock screen. 

//Meredith: ETHAN GRANT DOLAN! i can't believe you blocked me!//

//Meredith: I KNOW you still love me E- I know I still LOVEEEE you.//

//Meredith: I heard about Cassie- you and I both know that she's no match for me.//

I scroll through the rest of the messages and tears prick my eyes.

Who was this girl?

I march over to Grayson's room and shout, "ETHAN!"

"Yeah babe? Oh no, what happened to yo-" he begins.

"WHO THE HELL IS MEREDITH?" I yell, interrupting him. 

The colour from his face goes, and he walks towards me, gesturing towards the corridor. I follow him. I show him the phone screen, and he reads the messages, before looking back up at me.

"Well?!" I ask. 

"There's something I haven't told you." He says.
