30- happily ever after

Cassie's POV

Everything was just perfect.

Ethan eventually got of his wheelchair and I had my casts taken off.

We all lived together in the apartment.

Months went by, and Grayson even got a girlfriend.

I set him up with my best friend Julia.

They were so cute together.

As for me and Ethan, our relationship only got stronger.

Fast forward a few more months, and today is our one year anniversary.

"Cassie! Come on!" Ethan yells. 

He's taking me to the beach today to celebrate.

I stare at my choices of clothes, and eventually decide on a long white dress.

I run to the door, where Ethan is standing. 

" Damn Cassie, you look so good." Ethan says, smirking.

I feel myself blush and look at Ethan. He was wearing a chequered top with some shorts.

"Hey stop eyeing eachother and go already!" I hear Grayson say. 

We both laugh, and then I follow Ethan out the door.

We get into his car and he drives me to the beach.

We're just in time for sunset.

We park up, and he grabs my hand and drags me to the shore.

We both stand there, out hands still interlocked, as we gaze at the beautiful shades of red and orange. 

"It's so beautiful Ethan," I say.

"Yeah, it really is." Ethan says.

I turn to face him, and see him staring at my face.

"Ethan!" I say, feeling my face getting Red.

"I love you Cassie." He says, kissing me on the cheek.

"I love you too Ethan." I say, before looking back at the sunset.

I daydream into the colours when I Ethan talk again.

"Cassie." He says.

I turn around to face him. He looks me in the eye, then lowers himself onto one knee.

"I love you so much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?" He says, bringing out a blue box with the most beautiful ring that I've ever seen, inside.

"OH MY GOSH ETHAN YES!" I scream, getting some applause from nearby.

He stands up and puts the ring on my hand.

He leans for a kiss and I kiss him back.

This was the most meaningful kiss I've gotten from him since the incident.

I love him so much.

I see Grayson and Julia come out from behind a tree, and we all have a group hug.

It's so surreal to think that this all started, just because of a simple action.

This.

It all happened because of a DM.
