Nick, Jamie, and Shawn crept across the base covered in the dark night. Considering it was a CDC lab in France, the baguette eaters may not be keen on seeing any Yankees let alone Yankee soldiers in their country. Ever since the original outbreak shit has truly hit the fan, cities near the lab were swarmed adding more infected to the already infectees. As the last report checked out the horde was about 800,000 strong and gaining more as it moved on. Suddenly the alarm started blaring as the announcement system went off with a French man yelling orders most likely. A moment later he started screaming as the door was kicked in and the infected tore into him. "Now is our chance while the French get killed one by one we can get the fuck out of here." Shawn whispered fiercely as the other two only could nod. The trio darted around in the darkness to finally reach a helicopter, a Eurocopter Caracal and after finally managing to start it, they took off into the dark night leaving behind the carnage that was the military base. In the time it took for them to reach a helicopter that want in the sky already the French troops there got swarmed. They did put up a valiant effort to no avail, the horde of the infected was too strong for them to handle. However they did manage to kill some of the bastards but it wasn't much, the base had 40,000 men which is surprising how quickly they fell. The horde lost about 10,000 of the 800,000 so in the end the horde gained more then they lost, all together it was now 830,000 strong.
A/N heyyyyyyyy guys chapter 9 is now done I'm soooo sorry for the wait and also soooo sorry for how short this chapter is so today is Thursday and I'm hoping that before school starts again next Monday that I can have about 20 chapters done also the Eurocopter Caracal is an actual French helicopter so fun fact about that
