(Shadamy) Midnight Lovers

Chapter 9: Friends Don't Understand

                Amy sat up in her bed yawing. Still tired from the night before. She couldn't help but remember what it was like last night. She saw a side of Shadow she never seen before. The Shadow she knew was mean a cruel. 

                She have never thought Shadow would be so nice. But what she saw last night is going to change everything. Amy didn't even know she would be happy with Shadow. She actually started to think she was falling in love with Shadow. 

             Amy blushed at the thought holding her cheek in thought. "Me falling in love with Shadow? I don't believe it, I love Sonic..." She stopped in her thought again. She was thinking about all the times Sonic didn't take a chance for her. 

            She sighed, she knew Sonic didn't feel the same way. He only saw her as a friend that helped him on missions against Eggman. No matter how hard she tried Sonic didn't love her the way she wanted him too. 

            Then Amy started thinking about Shadow. Even if at first he held a gun to her head. He didn't shoot her. He even went to hangout with her last night. They even...kissed. Amy blushed even darker and giggles. Maybe Amy was falling in love with Shadow. She smiled, and went to her kitchen to make some breakfast for herself. 

         When she reached her kitchen and went to stove to start making some eggs. She went to her fridge and grab the eggs and put in on the counter. Then...her doorbell rang. 

        Confused, Amy went her door and opened it. At the door was none other than Sonic The Hedgehog. 

        "Hey Amy," Sonic smirked.  Amy was surprised "Hi Sonic, what are you doing here?' Amy asked.  Sonic shrugged "Eh, I thought I should come over for now on for breakfast,". Amy then arched her brow at him but let him inside anyway. Sonic walked in and sat on the couch. 

         Amy went into the kitchen and started cooking. Amy yelled to Sonic from the kitchen "What happen to Tails making you food in the morning?" Sonic put his arms and rested his head on the back on the couch. "Tails and Cosmo, are now living together and it's just weird for me to eat there. You get what I'm saying Amy?" 

     Amy finished with the eggs and put them on the plate. Sonic this and and rushed to the table and sat down. Amy smiling puts the plate of eggs on the table for Sonic to enjoy. Sonic smiled and started eating. Amy sat in front of him "Sonic you do know sooner or later your going to have to find somewhere else to eat right?" 

  Sonic looked at her funny "What do you mean?". Amy shrugged, "I may have found someone that I really like Sonic," Sonic eyes grew wider and then smiled. "Congrats Amy! Here I thought you was going to chase me forever," Amy smiled as well, "Well you see Sonic I finally figured out that you didn't want to be with me. I know you would rather be free than in a relationship," 

          Sonic goes back to eating his eggs and then looked at Amy again. "So who is the lucky fella?" Sonic smirked again.  

            Amy blushed dark red and stops looking Sonic in the eye. Sonic smirking he says "Come on, tell your friend who he is," Amy looked at Sonic and stared at him blushing. "I can't tell you Sonic..." 

            Sonic started looking a bit concern. "Amy?...Who is it?" 

            Amy looked at the ground blushing. "I-I can't say Sonic..." 

         Sonic stared at her and staring to glare. "Amy...You're not chasing after someone that is going to get you killed are you?" 

         Amy looks off and sighed...She didn't think she was getting killed, but she knew if Sonic knew he would do everything he could to make it end...
