(Shadamy) Midnight Lovers

Chapter 8: Without Regret

    Amy ears perked and look at Shadow with curiosity. "What do you like seeing Shadow?" Amy asked.

   Shadow blushes dark red and looks off quickly so Amy doesn't see. "It's nothing," Shadow mumbled.

    Amy smiled and giggled at Shadow's reaction. "Are you sure? You got really red all of the sudden," Amy smiled.

      Shadow looked back at Amy with a small tint of red on his cheeks. "It's because I reached a very high temperature really fast," Shadow said.
Even thou Shadow knew he was blushing at what Amy asked. He thought she didn't hear him and that he said it to himself. He didn't even think he said it out loud at all.

       He did thought Amy was very beautiful. The moonlight was hitting her just right. Slowly Shadow slid his hand closer and closer to Amy's. He placed his hand right on tops of hers.
Amy, feeling the hand on hers, looked at Shadow with a strong tint of red on her cheeks. The ebony hedgehog looked at her a gave her a small smile.

    He couldn't help but smile at Amy. He never smiled even for something really funny that happen during one of Eggman's jokes. Surprisingly Eggman jokes was funny. It made everyone laugh but Shadow. But Amy was different. She made him smile but just standing there.

    Without knowing Shadow leaned on towards Amy and closed his eyes. Amy blushes darker, if that was possible,she stared at Shadow...and then closed her eyes and leaned in as well. Their lips meeting with a gentle peck and both their eyes opening to look at each other.

     "Amy?...Did you like it?" Shadow asked. Amy smiled and nodded. She did enjoy it.

    "Good, because I'm going to do it again," Shadow whispered and kissed her again. Amy ,blushing, kissed back.
This kiss had meaning to it. It was passionate, deep, loving. A kiss they both will never forget.

     Then a loud bang happened off into the distanced. They both stopped what they were doing and looked at the sky.

    "Fireworks!" Amy whispered as she looked at the light filled sky.

    Shadow looked at Amy and then back to sky. He wrapped his arm, around, pulling her close. He puts his cheek on the side of her head. Amy still looking at the sky with happiness. This was the best day of her life. Hoping more moments like this will happen. But with one man....Shadow....
