"kim taehyung where are we going?" jungkook whined, pulling on the olders button up sleeve as he drove.
"you'll see jungkook-ah, you'll love it. i hope..." taehyung muttered the last part and bit his lip. "i was gonna ask if you were taking me to the place we first met but i don't think we'd dress up to go to jimin's." jungkook clicked his tongue and taehyung chuckled.
"yeah we're definitely not going there. we're almost there kook~" taehyung cooed excitedly but on the inside he was extremely nervous.
jungkook smiled brightly as taehyung parked the car.
the two got out of the car and taehyung led jungkook to their final destination.
"people normally do this over dinner but i don't want to risk throwing up so we aren't eating anything." taehyung started as he navigated his way through a garden maze.
jungkook was already speechless. it was beautiful. all the flowers and bushes were so pretty. the grass was a perfect green, just everything looked ethereal.
taehyung looked back at jungkook and smiled. their hands were connected as taehyung pulled jungkook throughout the maze.
they looked ethereal.
"its beautiful taehyung but you're way better." jungkook stopped walking to kiss his boyfriend. "thanks but we have to keep walking baby." taehyung smiled and pecked jungkook's lips before continuing on his way.
finally the two made it to a beautiful gate that had a pond and a fountain on the other side.
the other side also contained the boys friends and some family members waiting excitedly for the two to enter.
"this is where we stop for a moment.." taehyung took a deep breath and took both jungkook's hands in his.
"i love you jungkook." taehyung said and jungkook smiled. "i love you too taehyung."
taehyung smiled and kissed his cheek before getting down on one knee.
the older boy shook his hair out of his eyes as he looked up at jungkook who had his eyes wide.
"you know i love you more than anything in the world. one moment you're just some guy that randomly texted me because i was stupid and gave him my number when i was drunk and then the next you're some guy i'd do anything for because i love you and i don't ever want to lose you. we've been through a lot together and at some points in my life i thought we were done but im so happy we aren't and i want to ask you to start a new beginning with me. i want us to be together until the day we die. i want us to move on from our high school selves and become mature together. i want us to start a family together. so..."
taehyung chuckled softly as he wiped his own tears away.
"will you, jeon jungkook, marry me right here and right now?" taehyung finished and pulled out a tiny box with a beautiful diamond ring inside.
jungkook bit his lip to hold back a sob. he cursed himself for being so goddamn emotional.
"yes.." he croaked out. "yes i'll marry you, kim taehyung, right here and right now. i love you so much." jungkook smiled and taehyung stood up, pulling the younger close and kissing him passionately.
they pulled away and wiped each others tears away.
"let's get married now, shall we?" taehyung asked, grabbed jungkook's hand and giving it a light squeeze.
"we shall." jungkook smiled and then the two opened the gate and walked through, being immediately greeted by screams and sobs of their friends and family members.
as the two stood in front of each other with their hands connected and rings on their fingers they both were sure they were doing the right thing.
"i know you kim taehyung, im so happy you became more than just my one night stand."
