The Winner of Twister Part 7

~(Kagami P.O.V.)~ 

As the day carried on all my classes went by in a blink of an eye and the bell signaled that it was time to pack up and leave for practice. I put all my books up and threw my bag over my shoulder I turned back to see it (Y/N) was still here so I could talk to her more, she seemed... kind of rude today? Pissy? Annoyed? I don't understand girls but anyways she still wasn't there so I started walking towards the gym with a shorter blur haired boy following close behind. '.. (Y/N).... (Y- OW!' My train of thought was interrupted by me running straight into a closed door.

"I tried warning you." Kuroko said bluntly.

"Well my mind was gone next time speak up! .." I covered my nose and rubbed it.

"Thinking about (Y/N)-san?" He opened the door and held it opened until I walked through.

Not wanting to sound like a love sick puppy..I shuddered at the thought of the dogs but as I was saying. I lied to seem I wasn't really thinking of her so I let out a loud hearty laugh and slapped him on his back, "No way! I was thinking about beating everyone in one-on-one! Why should I worry about her?"

Kuroko stared at me. "You suck at lying you know.." He pointed out and it made me roll my eyes.

Upon entering the gym I told the couch that me and Kuroko was present but was about the change out. We headed towards the locker room and we threw our stuff down before I took off my shirt and looked down at myself. A wave of guilt and regret washed over me as I remembered my terrible past. If only I wasn't so weak back then I could have saved her. She wouldn't have forgotten me.

Suddenly I felt a jolt of pain shoot through my head as that memory played over and over again. Her screams. The sounds.
I then felt a hand on my shoulder and I turn to face Kuroko who looked rather worried. I gave him a reassuring smile and finished getting dressed before heading out.

"Geez you two were taking your sweet time!" The coach scolded us and blew her whistle, calling everyone to line up.

"So you know how we have a big game coming up right? I know I can take care of you by myself but I found some more help! She'll be our back bone for items that we need, like...Medicine and all that. Plus she knows a little about playing. Oi! (Y/N) come out!" I glanced down the line with widened eyes. '(Y/N)?! I never knew she was into sports.'

I watched as she stepped out the storage room with a ball in hand wearing a t-shirt and basketball shorts, and she got the fresh new J's too. She dribbled the basketball over to us and stopped next to the coach. Not bad. But still not good.

"Greetings, I'm (Y/F/N) (Y/L/N) and I'll be working along side you from now on. Please take care of me." She bowed, and stood back up straight smiling. Her (E/C) irises shined when the sun hit them just right. I found myself staring at her with my jaw slightly opened.

~(Y/N) P.O.V~

I was in the storage room cleaning the basketballs when I heard my name being called, I looked down at myself blushing slightly.

~Flaah back to about 15 minutes ago~

Right when I walked out of my class someone who was running around with friends laughing had drinks and you know where I'm going with this. I guess they didn't notice me and ran straight into my being, I was just in a daze when it happened that I just didn't make a sound.
They tried apologizing but I just walked passed them heading down the steps, 'I'll just go home and wash up.' I thought to myself when all of a sudden I bumped into someone, a girl. She was about to fall down the steps but I caught her by the collar of her shirt and pulled her back up.

".....My bad. Are you alright?" I stared at her, her eyes were wide as she stared at my (E/C) pools, she regained her footing.

"Yeah, Nice catch by the way I would've been a goner.. My name is Riko Aida, And you are?"
