•First Day•

NICO WAS WALKING TOWARDS THE dining hall, his walking shoes walking on damp grass. The sun was beggining to rise in the horizon, but the atmosphere of the academy will never get hot too much since the school has a magical barrier protecting the whole place from becoming too hot or cold.

The male's residence hall was void of people, especially since it was still too early in the morning. He woke up early but is now regretting it. Even though he wore a jacket underneath a T-shirt, it was chilly outside. It was the reason he was getting grumpier by each second.

Strangely, the dew on the grass were frozen, though the weather wasn't even that kind of cold. The frozen dew drops crunched under his shoes, further irritating Nico. He fixed the strapped of his backpack and walked towards his destination, the dining hall.

The dining hall is a large structure, having a ceiling that is two stories high and gold chandeliers that hung from the ceiling. The whole area is enclosed, except for some large windows and the always opened oak doors on all sides.

The sunlight streaming from the windows was enough to light the place, but with the light from the chandeliers, you could see every corner of the hall. The walls of the hall was pristine white, not a speck of dust visible and the ceiling was a mahogany color even though it is made of gold.

All the tables and chairs were made of elven wood making them durable and sturdy. Nico quickly walked towards the most secluded table at the room which was at a corner. No one sat at his table, either it was because it was still to early or that the table has him.

The tables in the middle were packed with people, but Nico didn't want to eat with so many people. He would rather die than socialize.

A plate of sizzled blue marlin, mashed potato, and a bunch of grapes. He took his time eating them while repeating the mantra "Fish are friends, not food." He feels a little guilty eating the fish, but you could say that it was his guilty pleasure.

After he finished eating, the heap of food disappeared. He stood up, and walked outside the dining hall. He bolted for the forest, which glimmered in the early morning sun for some unknown reason.

A TREEHOUSE SAT IN THE middle of the school forest, though it was filled with runes from top to bottom. For those who wasn't allowed to enter, it was invisible to them. The runes also makes sure the house stays is good condition and that it would also repel intruders.

The treehouse was simple, but was made of elven wood and imbued with magic. The treehouse was just two floors, but was large because it goes around a large tree. A long, ladder made of dwarfen iron was the only way to get up the house.

The first floor include a two rooms attached with comfort rooms, a kitchen with a mini-fridge, a mini-library, and living room, giving the atmosphere a cozy feeling even if the first floor is cramped. The walls were not painted to show the real vibrant colors of the wood.

The second floor has no roof, with cushions scattered around the floor. A rune was carved into the tree to repel the strong winds and the rain. A telescope was on the second floor, for those who to go stargazing.

A piece of barren land was under the treehouse, usually for training or for meditation. It too was covered with the runes.

Though no one did know why the tree was so large compared to every tree in the forest, this tree was important somehow. But no one wondered why.

Nico climbed up the ladder to his treehouse. He plopped into the sofa, sighing as he ran his hands through his hair. The sun was still peeking through the horizon, so he didn't care about the time.
