Ethan's POV

As soon as I heard the gunshot, I thought it's our family rivals. I at once tried to rush inside to see my parents and uncle, aunty if they were fine.

But I saw Daniel holding my wrist stopping me.

" What happened Dani?" I asked.

" No one is injured I know. It was for us not for your family,Ethan." He said and I looked at Axel he was also a bit shocked.

" What are you saying? Who will try to kill you?" Axel said.

" Didn't I tell you about my family rivals around? " he said.

" But how come they are here?" I asked.

" They must tried to shot my brother. " Daniel said.

" Please, let's go inside. " I heard my wife saying.

" OK, let's go." I hold her hand and everyone followed me.

I saw my dad and uncle were there standing and talking with the cops.

" Dad!!!" We rushed to him. "What happened here?" Adriana asked.

I saw Nick at once hugged his mom, Lucy and Ashley as always their dad. I saw Ana holding dad tightly. Kid!!! I can't but take a sigh of relief.

" Nothing, Princess. Just someone tried to shot Mr. Campbell. " uncle said.

" OK, I got it." I said. I looked at Daniel's brother. He was standing with blank expression. This guy is unpredictable. I thought in my mind.

" I am sorry Mr. Campbell, extremely sorry for everything. I never thought you will face this kind of thing today." I said to him and he just nodded. I mean I am sorry but I don't like this guy. I never did.

" Dani, I am leaving you come later." He said Daniel and left at once without even bothering to listen to Dani's answer.

" Alright, Dani. I don't like your brother. Honestly, I don't." Evelyn told the thing that I was about to say. Correct, no one can like him. He is something!!!

" Well, not only you, Evelyn. Not only you." Daniel said.

" His attitude!!!" I just could utter.

" I agree." Axel said." Something is wrong with him."

" I think everything is wrong with him and he needs to visit a psychiatrist soon." Daniel said.

" Alright, let's not talk about him now." I said.

" I am sorry, Ethan. It was my fault coming like this." Daniel said sadly.

" No, Dani. You weren't at fault. It's them not you." I said.

" I know, Ethan. Know everything. I just can say they are not going to be easy on you all." Daniel said.

" You don't need to be worried Dani. They can't do anything. " I said firmly.

" Yeah, Dani, besides it's NYC. They won't dare. " Axel said

"Guys, mark my words they will try to destroy you too." Dani said.

" Let them come. We will see." Zach said.

" Hey!!! Why are you so off? Chill, buddy no one is injured here." I said.

" Still feel guilty. What if someone was!!" He said.

" Just don't think like this. You did nothing about it." Axel said to Daniel.

" You guys aren't understanding. They are not some easy rivals. They are strong and powerful. They killed my parents and will kill us too. I have said several times this crazy girl to leave me. She is likes death more than leaving me." He gestured his fiancée Sara.

" Like this is going to do any effect on me? I am not leaving Mr. Campbell. So, change this topic. We have done with this issue, haven't we? I think you forgot. Just leave it. Don't make me crazy like last time. You better remember what can I do." Sara threatened Daniel and he gulped helplessly.

" Look,this how she blackmails me." Daniel said.

" I do right. Otherwise, you would have kicked me out of your life long back." She mocked.

" You are a fire girl. " Ashley said suddenly.

" Thank you. " she said still glaring at Daniel.

" Alright, I do understand you can glare." He said.

" You better remember. " Sara said. What a girl!!! Angel is quiet and calm girl otherwise I would be like Daniel. Poor him!!!

" I better leave now, Ethan." Daniel said.

" Why so Dani?" I asked.

" We are leaving for Australia tonight. Ethan, Axel, I am sorry my friends. I will never come out of my country to trouble people. You guys can visit me but I will say don't. I don't want you get into trouble for me. I was right here." Daniel said.

" Dani, it's not like that. You can live like this. Hiding always. It's not the solution. " Axel said.

" Axel is right, Daniel. " I said.

" Ethan, it's the best choice." He said. " I am not going to let my kids even come out of Australia. " he said.

" Don't be insane, Dani." I said.

" No, Ethan. It's right choice." Sara suddenly said to all of us.

" OK, as you guys wish. We won't say anything. But if you need any of our help just give us a call. We will try our best to help you." Axel said.

" Sure, Bro." Dani hugged me, Axel, Nick and Zachary.

" Stay blessed my friend. " he said.

I saw Sara hugging the girls.

" Bye for awhile or forever don't know." She said sadly but smiled widely. I can't but sighing.

" Don't say that, sweetie. We are going to meet very soon." Angel said.

" Yes, we are." Evelyn said.

" Good night, bye. See you. " she said and they left. I just looked at them blankly.

The party was over soon. I was very tired. I went in my room but couldn't find Angel there. I called her out but she didn't answer. Where has she gone!!!

" Angel!!! Angel!!!" I called.

" Here in the balcony. " she answered after about 20 calls.

" What are you doing here? Haven't you slept still now?" I asked holding her hands.

" No, just was thinking. " she said and turned to me.

" Thinking what, love?" I asked.

" These gunshot is terribly shocked me and made me very scared. But I was thinking about Sara and Daniel." She said and I kissed her forehead.

" They will be fine. Don't worry. And as long as I am with you, you don't need to be worried. " I assured her.

" I know. Still, I have a bad feeling about this. How will they be able to survive like this!!!" She said.

" They will, I know Daniel. He will mange it." I said.

" I hope so." She said and hugged me tightly. I hugged her back.

I don't know if I said true and Lie , I myself don't know if Daniel can or not. My I want to believe that he will.
