chapter 5 - awe

-Get out!-

(Jonah's pov)
"I was wondering if you like Chloe?" Zach asks me.

"I-" I'm cut off by Dave.

"Alright guys, were here. Try to eat something real quick and then go to sleep. We're going to some different radio stations tomorrow!" He announces.

We get off the bus and head into the kitchen. Since we're all too tired to cook, we agree on ordering a pizza.

Before Zach can re-ask his question, I head into the bathroom to get changed.

"Ah!" I hear when I open the door. Inside I see Chloe half naked. She was absolutely beautiful.

"Jonah, Jonah! Get out! Im trying to take a shower?" She says.

"Oh, oh my God, I'm so sorry. I- I didn't mean to." I shut the door in complete awe. I turn around to see Zach walking down the hallway.

"You good bro?" He asks me. I quickly snap back to reality.

"Y-yeah. I'm good, are you?" I blurt out.

"Hey, you know you never got back to me. About liking my sister." He stares at me.

(Chloe's pov)
Oh boy. Jonah just walked in on me just as I was taking off my shirt. All I wanted to do was take a shower. I wasn't even thinking about him. Then he walks in, and he looks so shocked. I say his name multiple times, and then he realizes what was happening.

"You know, you never did answer me. About liking my sister." I hear from outside the bathroom.

It was quiet for a few seconds, and then Jonah starts to speak.

"Who, Chloe? Nah, nah she's just a friend." I hear him say.

"Huh, just a friend. Okay, forget I said anything." Zach didn't sound like he really believed him, but maybe he did? You can only hope.

Unless Jonah doesn't actually like me. Maybe he's just being nice. I sure hope not, that would suck.

"Dinners here!" I hear from the kitchen. I try taking a quick shower so I could get something before the boys eat all of it. But I couldn't forget about Jonah.

(Jonah's pov)
"Dinners here!" I hear from the kitchen. I pass Zach in the hallway so I could eat dinner.

I grab a few pieces and sit in the living room and stared at the movie someone put in, although I wasn't actually watching it. I was more focused on Chloe.

"So what do you think, Jonah?" I hear someone ask me.

"Huh, what?" I say, shaking back to the real world.

"What do you think about leaving here tomorrow so we could have a longer roadtrip going up to New York?" Daniel says.

"Oh, yeah. That sounds great." I say. I finish the pizza and head to the bedroom I'm in for the night.

Chloe is sleeping with Zach again, and probably always will. Besides, even if she would want to be in my room, she wouldn't be able to without making Zach even more suspicious than he already is.

(Chloe's pov)
I throw some pajamas on right after my shower and went into the kitchen. The boys weren't in there, but there were 3 pieces of pizza left on a plate which I took.

I found them all in the living room watching some movie. There was an open space on the couch by Jonah, so of course I sat there.

Shortly after I finished the pizza, I was feeling very tired. I snuggled up to Jonah and he rested his head on mine.

We must've fell asleep like that because I woke up the next morning in Jonah's arms.

I try to get out so Zach doesn't see, but Jonah holds on to me tighter.

I mean, Zach probably saw is like this last night anyways, so why dont I just stay there?

It was very warm in his grasp, I just didn't want to get up. It was so comfy, he really was like a big bear.

I hear some muffling coming from another room, and I shut my eyes so they think I'm still sleeping.
