He knew it was a habit that he had to stop, but he just found comfort in the grey wisps of smoke that fumed out of his mouth.
It was something he knew he could control, but didn't bother to anyway.
So on one of those grey quiet mornings he spent to smoke, he managed to catch a hint of orange in his sight. Curious by the vibrant color, he ran out of the brick alleyway he was hiding in to find the orange.
And that was when he saw her.
Her sunset colored curls captured his stare,
The yellow glints from the sun made him lose his breath. And when she turned to catch his eyes,
She saw the ocean that swam inside,
Various blues and greens,
That showed her everything she wanted to see.She fell in love with his vibrant hues.
While he fell in love with her vibrant shades. He quickened his pace, to catch her before she stepped onto the mustard yellow bus.
But before he could mange to muster out a word, her sunset colored curls bounced until they were concealed by dirt covered windows.
And she was gone.
His desperate need to get to know her was overcome by his sadness and grief.
He checked his gold watch, making sure that he would be here the next morning, in case she arrived again.
Not knowing, he would spend morning after morning, arriving at the same time to find her, only to find his heart become shattered in the next few days.
