He swallowed down his breakfast, and rushed to race out of his small ivory apartment. If he got there in time, like he planned, he would be early.
Maybe he'll talk to her today, maybe.
What if she's rude, and won't even raise a hand to wave a simple hello? No, she didn't seem like the type.
His hands started sweating from the nervousness, and he shakily pulled out a pack of cigarettes out of his coat pocket.
The snap of the lighter, quickened his heart race, and he watched the mandarin orange flame dance around the silver end.
Lighting the cigarette, carefully placed between his lips, he blew the grey wisps of smoke into the white rainy air.
Rain dripped from the glowing green leaves, the air seemed to be saturated with moisture. The cool wind blew softly across his skin, making the brown hairs on his arm stand up.
Why did he want to see her so badly?
What point was he making to himself?
What would he achieve if he talked to her? Heck, he barely knew her. Well, he didn't know her at all.
But there was just something, something about those sunset curls, that made his heart stop beating, just for a second.
It's just hair, not love, is he experiencing the feeling of lust?
"Hi." A sweet melody seemed to ring through his ears, a voice full of golden honey.
She was speaking to him.
"Hello."
She was even more beautiful up close. Her brown orbs were chocolate colored, honey rings, seeming to glow.
"Those are bad for you, you know." She was pointing at the cigarette between his fingers.
He casted his eyes downward, just for a second, before looking back up.
Then, as if in a blink of a second, she was gone.
And he tossed his cigarette in the trash barrel beside him, along with the pack in the pocket of his coat.
